Likes

The college campus is very large and it's one of the largest campuses in the entire Delhi University.
I also like the football and cricket ground, it's very good.

Dislikes

I don't like the attention paid to the honours courses compared to the BA(Program).
There are some classes that don't have enough ventilation and they certainly need improvement.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

The year wise fee for this course is 13,500 in the first year and it will likely decrease in the 2nd year and 3rd year. There are many scholarships that the college provides like NSP, PMSSS and also fee concession for the students who have less than 2 lakh annual income.

Likes

Chemistry department of Dyal Singh College is best in DU
Lab staff is good,very helpfull , supportive

Dislikes

The campus ,classes are not well maintained
No proper facilities of ventilation in classrooms and labs

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

1st year I paid Rs 16700 and Rs 11000 in my 2 nd year and will pay Rs 10000for the 3rd year. There is no separate registration,lab fees and all. All are included in yearly fees. But I paid Rs 1000 for a he CUET registration and after the results,I paid Rs 250 for the CSAS portal. I don't know about the scholarship provided by college but the college refunds all the fees of the economically weaker students.

The best thing was its infrastructure it is the biggest campus in south campus
Canteen facility also available there the rate is so cheap

Dislikes

Some teachers were so irresponsible to their work
Many teachers were not take classes regularly

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

During first year fees was 13000 per year but for second and third year it was 11000 for my course history hons . Fees were refundable those who were eligible for the scholarship. After graduation security deposit amount that was 2000 were refunded

Likes

I like the infrastructure of this college. Its the biggest college of south campus of Delhi university.
I liked the faculty and management. Management of the college is upto the good mark

Dislikes

I think there should be one stationary and photocopy shop inside college as theres no such shop near college.
The computer lab is not so good. Computer systems are old version.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

The fee of my course bcom hons is 10000 per year and also the average fee of all couses of this college is also 10-12k per year. They also provide scholarships and fee concession to the needed ones in just a simple procedure

Likes

The yearly fees was very low as compared with other colleges.
the overall staff and teachers are helpful.

Dislikes

the overall hygiene of the college is not well maintained.
the security of events and fests is not good.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

my yearly fees was 12500+2500 for examination and course selection fee. 45000 facilities are available for students who could't afford fees and they also provide scholarship to good students. they have semester wise internship fair.

There is internship facilities as well as there placement cell is the bestest cell among all the college. Students will not face any ragging problems there and they have best campus etc
Students are friendly in nature . You will get to see topper to average Student and all are equal .

Dislikes

Some colleges under du comes under politics pressure.
Some colleges under du south campus does not provide placements.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

The fees of DU is the best part why student should prefer this university. Fee is very affordable student form low background can also apply hear . Many scholarships are provided to the students if they perform upto 50,000 . This university also runs its own internship named as vice chancellor internship for the student having stipend of 10,000

Teachers are very supportive and every teacher helps you as much as they can even on a personal level they give you a wide perspective of things while teaching as well
Seniors are also very supporting and they provide you exceptional advice which they have earned from their experiance and trust me it helps the juniors a lot

Dislikes

The cleanliness is not good as the benches are full of dusts at times students need to clean for themselves
The college canteen is somehow not maintaining the separate food counters for vegetarian and non vegetarian food

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

The fee structure is very affordable ,I myself don't belong to the creamy layer but it is somehow affordable to me,also there are some facilities for scholarships for which students who can't afford fee can apply and they can get this quality education for almost free of cost

Likes

The over all environment of the college. The gentry of the students that attends the college of full of determination hopes ambitions. The seniors who are helpful and guide the students and help them navigating through the college life. P
The culture , the clubs,the fest life which makes the hustle worth it. The meeting and collaborations with new people which helps us in developing and improving our network.

Dislikes

The instances of lack of classes uninformed by the teachers. It ruins the efforts of the students who show up to the college to study according to the timetable but are faced with this situation.
The political culture which is yet not moderated by the college and often leads to unnecessary violence and bullying in the college premises.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

The tuition fee in Delhi University typically can range anywhere from 5000 or 10000 to 20000 at Max. The courses offered are very affordable for students of any background as they are of Meagre amount and can offer lots of knowledge and input which can set us well for for life.

Mathematics department's faculty is really exceptional and equally supportive.
Numerous societies to help you participate and learn through extracurricular activities.

Dislikes

Electricity and water infrastructure can be worked upon.
The class size also needs to be reduced a bit.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

The fee for this course for 2018-2021 batch is approximate Rs. 12000 per semester. which is pretty affordable. There are multiple placement opportunities but as a BSc student you will have to find your way through it.

Likes

The amount of social interaction in this university is amazing. You get to apply in various societies and clubs and gain experience
The no. Of subjects is wide that is skill enhancement cources , value addition courses , ability enhancement courses along with the core subjects

Dislikes

I don't like the fact the college infrastructure is average
The duration of the semester examination is way too long extending to a month and half

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

The college fee structure is around 14000-15000 for one year that is 2 semesters . It includes library access and tution fees .There are no scholarships available. Campus employment are available across the duration of courses which can be accessed by contacting the placement cell of the college. There are vacancies for role of accountant , content writers , human resources etc.
