International Institute of Information Technology (IIIT), Ranchi recently released its 2022 Placement statistics. Amid this pandemic situation the students managed to bag the highest CTC of INR 46 LPA.
The participating recruiters made a total of 137 placement offers & successfully placed 93 students during the placement drive. A total of 42 students got 2 placement offers & 17 students got 3 placement offers each.

During IIIT Ranchi Placements 2022, the participating 2018-2022 batch comprised a total of 103 eligible students. Among those students 93 students got placed.
The participating companies made 137 placement offers during the placement drive. Among which 76 students got placed from CSE & 54 students got placed from ECE this year. 42 students got 2 placement offers each & 17 students got 3 placement offers each during the placement drive of 2022.
The highest CTC of INR 46 LPA & average CTC of INR 12.8 LPA was offered to the students during the placement drive of 2022.

- Hostels are good and well equipped mess food is also decent
- Course degine by my college is good and have the abillity to make the student placement ready

- Curriculum is very hectic vast syllabus have to cover in 4 months
- There is no such fest conducted in our college this time although we have our official techfest but not conducted this year

Placement are good and decent as in our official website it's written that average pacakage is 18 lakh and we get ready in our third year for the placement highest package is 80 lakh my plans is to just get the job

- faculties are really great here . they are expert in their domains. Their industry experience and skill enhance the learning experience also the practical things. They support the students and clear their doubt any time .
- Here hostels are well maintained with proper furniture and facilities. each rooms has 2 students with a proper space for both for them.
Dislikes
- It does not have it's own permanent campus.
- Due to no permanent campus , temporary campus is small.
Placement Experience:
from 7th semester students are eligible for placements . companies like amazon , HCL , tata , visite. THE highest package is 83 lakhs and the average package is 17lakhs. about 90 percent students get placed.

- Advance resources and labs for electronics and computer science domain
Placement Experience:
Highest package offered was 83.38 LPA. Average package was 16.67 LPA On campus placements are offered by the college Google, Atlassian, Goldmansachs, LogicFruit, MPL, Intuit and a lot more companies where our alumni are working. As year's are passing the number of recruitment is increasing exponentially Student's who dont opt for placement's usually apply for master as their secondary plan

- I liked the course curriculum of the institute. It was updated to the standard IIT curriculum.
- Examination are less stressful and less time consuming
Dislikes
- College doesn't have a permanent campus.
- Fees on the slightly higher side. But it is same for IIT's and NIT's.
Placement Experience:
From the 7th semester, students are eligible to take part in on-campus placements. And, 8th semester is fully dedicated for internships and major project. Some of the companies which visited the campus were hyperverge, IBM, Cognizant, Brane etc.

- Good college life. Teachers are really good. Also there is diversification of students.
Dislikes
- Quality of the teachers are not that good.
Placement Experience:
Now from last year companies also started visiting for third year students for internship. Otherwise you are only eligible in your fourth year. Companies like Google, atlassian, Intuit, ibm, jio, infordge, hyperverge and many more visits. Last year highest package was 83 lakhs offerd by atlassian. Average was around 11 lakhs. About 92 percent were placed

- The living conditions like hostel which are very spacious.
- The distance from main city which is just 6 km
Dislikes
- Lack of campus which is directly affecting our freedom.
- The lack of ac in hostel and classrooms during summer

placements start from 7th semester the number of offers are not that well like double but like 130 per 100 students, which i think is quite good for a newer college. the percentage of students placed who applied is around 80 percent after which some opt for GATE or MBA , etc .

- sports ground are not there facing problem

there is average 90% placement rate of the college last time the highest package is 84lpa so its give good placement but you should good in communication skill,good in dsa itc, there are 30-40 companies visited

- Behaviour here of faculty are friendly and supportive.
- Hostel room are good and good for two students.
Dislikes
- Temporary campus is very small and it doesn't even have little space to celebrate few events.
- Sports facilities are very bad here and equipment are available.

The college invites many companies for placement and the average placement provided here is about 15 LPA. The highest placement in 2022 was 84 pla but it was off campus and on campus it was 22 lpa. Skills you have to learn on your own.

- The faculty of my college is very good, teachers are very supportive.They solve our basic doubts .
- seniors of our college guide us and give us information about future technologies.

- In present we dont have our permanent campus which makes me upset.
- Current locality of our college is 1km from main market .

Our palcements are good about 70% got on campus placements.After 6th demester students are eligible to sit in a interview.recently our senior of 3rd year got internship in GOOGLE. There is so much companies that visited are-Microsoft, TCS,Google etc.

- Hostel facility of college is very good.
- Coding culture is excellent with the support of seniors.
Dislikes
- The college does not have its own campus.
- All students does not reside in one area.
Placement Experience:
Last season the placements were quite surprising but this year it is a bit low. Till now the highest package is around 50 lpa. Many students are placed between 12 to 20 lpa. The placement cell of the college is trying to get more students placed and inviting more companies to come to our college.

What are the average packages of IIIT Ranchi?
IIIT Ranchi is a fairly new institute. It had the first placement drive in 2020. Since it is under the supervision of NIT Jamshedpur, the placements have been quite good. Also, it is a PPP mode type institute. Three companies are associated with the institute, i.e. TataMotors, TCS, and CCL.

Will IIIT Ranchi students be allowed to sit in NIT Jamshedpur placements?
From talking to students of IIIT Pune, I have come to the conclusion that there can be two possibilities to this question. Let me discuss both of them which might give you a clear idea.
- Companies may conduct the recruitment process separately for which a separate placement cell may be formed. The decision to recruit from IIIT Ranchi will be of the companies that come for the placement drive.
- IIIT Ranchi students may be allowed to sit in NIT Jamshedpur placements but with certain restrictions like an exception from sitting for getting placed in big companies that visit the campus such as Amazon and Microsoft. This type of policy is usually adopted by mentor institutions.
