Jharkhand Rai University (JRU) is the only NAAC-approved University in Jharkhand offering Undergraduate, Postgraduate, and Diploma courses in the fields of Engineering, Computer Application, Management, Pharmacy, Agriculture, and Law. JRU Admission 2024
Admission to all the courses is merit-based except for the Ph.D. programs. Admission to doctoral programs is entrance-based.

- There is no college life as much to say, there are no such feast or programs or fun activity.
Admission:
For the eligibility of the course a student must score more than or atleast 60 percent in all the main subjects and in total. There is no reservation benefits. Three sessionals in which best two are selected and the difficulty of the exam is quite standard. They should also tell about the disadvantage about it being in the remote area and the difficulty caused due to living in hostel atleast be honest in that so that people will not suffer.

- The college infrastructure was not good when I took admission in the year 2017.
- My Graduation course is B.sc Honours Agriculture. In this course required practical study but my college only focus on theoritical knowledge and didn't provide us any practical exposure.
Admission:
My admission was based on the merit basis. There is cut off of 50% for admission. It was overall good experience. admission councilor guided us also to choose the course and help us throughout the admission process.

the student should opt maths atleast in his 12th standard and should score 50 percent in his 12th class . the application form is available in jru.in portal. there is no reservation available in my college. there is no exam for taking admission. they should take exam for admission

Jharkhand Rai University does not offer the Mathematics courses. The hostel fee per year is INR 50,000.
JRU do allows West Bengal Student Credit Card. You can apply for it from the official site of JRU.

Jharkhand Rai University offers B.Sc. Agriculture in Honors mode. The total fee of the course is INR 4.15 lacs. The first year fee is INR 1.15 lacs. The second, third and fourth year fees are the same INR 1 lac.
is Lateral entry available in the university on mechanical engineering?
Jharkhand Rai University does not offer Mechanical Engineering Lateral entry course. It offers lateral entry admission in Mining Engineering and Computer Science Engineering only.
