  • Canteen was not so good. They must work on that. There was no essentials items also.
  • They must develop reading rooms for UG and PG also...there was no proper places to sit and have some time with friends.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The curriculum was designed beautiful. As first two year three core paper and one language paper...and in the last year among those three core paper you have to choose one paper as your honours. Therefore, they design furst two year as introductory course in all the core paper just to introduce you to the paper. But in the last year they cover the wide range of tooic in the specific subject. They cover all most all thr dimension of the subject. The always keep mind of contemporary literature wich one can opt as elective paper as naming New literature.

Because of Covid i didn't get into many annual programmes. BUT they alsways celebrate frehers for new comers. They also celebrate Hindi diwas, Teachers day in the month of September. There is also a youth festivals in the month of may and june. BOOK was easily available in the library and the administration was also so good. Journals was not easier available for UG. Computers are all nice and useable..they must provide a mic and box in classroom. There is only one active sports is cricket. But students always arrenge some new games like carom and footballs etc. There are no political active parities but some groups of people make political group to support students. There is an active club of NSS.

Admission :

So, i have appered in the Examinations and i got 1000 approx ranks. Therefore i didn't get BHU main campus due to limited seats. I got the opportunity to take admission in DAV pg college. It's an affiliated college to BHU. I was happy to get it because i wanted to enroll in this university.

Faculty :

There was one teacher for whole batch (200 students approx). Faculty members was so good. They were not only good in knowledge but also in teaching techniques. They always try to bring some new mathod to teach students. In first semester there was 2 english paper, 100 marks for each. 2 AIHC-Arch paper, 100 marks for each, 2 sanskrit paper, 100 marks for each (it varies per student's choice) and 1 language paper for 100 marks. It was same for second, third and forth semster also. But in fifth and sixth semster there was only six English literature paper and one language paper as i was pursuing English literature honours. There was internal assessment for 30 marks which consist 10 marks for attendance and 2 internal examination for 10 each. And there was 1 end semster examination for 70 marks.

Course Curriculum Overview:

the course structure was well designed and updated with the ongoing preparations of government exams which helped me alot in my preparations as everywhere polity is something that is a mandatory one and hence the curriculum plus the overall teaching pattern the timing of exams and the level of difficulty was moderate if someone had attended all the classes, plus the marking scheme was a bit hard and other aspects like attendance was also included, however there's no such compulsion that one must attend the classes this was only applicable for sessionals

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum at Amity University is a well rounded blend of theortical principles and practical relevance that shaped my future career. There are modules like microeconomics, macroeconomics, econometrics and statistics that provide a strong formation for any future career opportunities in economics or finance. Additionally the presence of specialise subject like health economics, developmental economics, international trade, public policy and behavioural economics very highly appealing and something you would not find in other universities or/and government university. The inclusion of such modules got my attention because it promised to go beyond traditional economic subjects and focusing on the practical subjects that are also industry specific level of domain of economics. They were also research projects, data analysis classes, case studies throughout the three year course which allows students to apply and test their knoweldge that further enhance the value of the degree. There were also subjects like environmental sciences, psychology, communicative English which was made mandatory for students that help them shape their personality and adapt more to a corporate setting. The examination system is designed to assess the viability of skills and critically but the difficulty of exam especially towards the end of semester can create unnecessary pressure for students. There will be time that there will be last minute syllabus changes or additional chapters to be considered and there is no structured format of what you can expect in the written exam however there is a fair grading system though some students feel that instead of the exams there can be more emphasis on analytical side rather than modules that require rote learning.

Political science has good scope in future. It helps in understanding society, governance, etc. It should be quite practical not just theory based. It gets boring if we only study thoery. Sessional exams are there in 1 semester along with semester exam.
