NIT Agartala is good for CSE, ESE and EIE branch students. Almost 80-90% got placed from these branches
The sports facilities in NIT AGARTALA are of top quality. The Atal Bihari Vajpayee sports complex are very big on area

Dislikes

The location of NIT AGARTALA is not good from my experience. The city is about 20-24 kms away from institute.
The professors are not up to mark. Around 90-95% professors there are from locals.

Faculty:

There are around 65 students in a single section of a class. The classroom is of old fashioned. Neither the classroom is equipped with air-conditioned or the bench-desk is of old fashioned. The quality of the education, professors of this institution provide not matches with national level.

Likes

The infrastructure is good with seperate buildings for seperate departments helping students to focus on that particular field of interest
The faculty is highly qualified with a bunch of them having international degrees or work experiences abroad.

Dislikes

While infrastructure is good, there can be a little more shift towards maintaining them
The mess food needs improvement for the most part.

Faculty:

There is adequate amount of faculty in every department and this kind of helps in balancing the subject dynamic load by sharing the syllabus and assigning the teachers to their particular domains. This in turn, helps us as we get to learn the concepts from the faculty that is more skillfull in that subject and so on. The faculty is highly educated and always use a mix of traditional way of teaching with books, lectures, explaining on the boards and so on and also a more modern approach as in providing pdfs, links for further assistance in case students find the concepts hard. They are always there to listen patiently to our doubts and solve them at the earliest and in a way we actually learn. They are always happy to help us out.

The perks of being in a national instiute is that you great a good friends circle who really motivates you to study and work hard
NIT Agartala has a really hug campus . Its covered with greenery and its quite refreshing to be there

Dislikes

The location is bit far from main city . Its approximately 20kms from the main city
Faculties and professors are average . It mainly depends on the branch . Some branch have really great teachers whereas some branches donot have

Faculty:

I can say about our branch . I am from chemical engineering and in our batch there are 69 students and faculties are 10 . Our branch teachers really put hell lot of efforts to teach us . They really work hard . they bring proper presentation slides and explain us and if we have any doubt they ask and tell us to clear the doubts . Teachers also help us during the practical classes . We can freely ask them if we have any doubt

Talking about the clubs, generally all the mandatory clubs like NCC, NSS

Faculty:

the teacher to the student ratio 1:3 and when i talk about the learning experiance the overall experience is very nice you will not going t /o regreat after your experience i repeat never . all the faculties are PHD scholars and their metorship is just awesome some of my teachers support me in very nice way they help me takle my academic abd non academic issues we actually lives in hostel but its dosent mean that we cant contact with teacher we have their groups and face to face mentorship of them helps me a lot in securing the future of mine .

A student's perspective of NIT Agartala

NIT Agartala organizes various cultural and technical events including AAYAM (technical fest) and MOKSHA(cultural fest) which helps students with opportunities to showcase their talent and interact with students of other institutions.
NIT Agartala has a beautiful campus spread over an area of approximately 365 acres, providing ample space for laboratories, hostels, health centre, cafeteria, etc. It is surrounded by plants and trees which helps you connect with the environment.

Dislikes

Climate conditions is hot and humid in NIT Agartala for the major part of the year which is uncomfortable for many of the students.
There is an occasional issues with network and internet connectivity, which is very important for academic and research activities. Also student are provided with limited 2 GB internet data per day which is usually not sufficient for students.

Faculty:

In NIT Agartala, faculty-to-student ratio ranges from 1:12 to 1:15 in various departments which helps students to have a good interaction with faculties. Generally, faculties are very interactive and helpful to students with their doubts and for career guidance. Most faculty members are well qualified holding PHDs and master degrees in their fields from reputed institutions like IITs and foreign universities. Many faculty members are actively what in research and have published papers in National and international journals. It teaching style is generally structured and good and contribute significantly to the personal and academic growth of students. One can easily interact with teacher or approach them if they have any doubts regarding the career or Academics or personal growth.

Faculty:

Qualification of the faculty members is good but they did not give us that quality of time faculty to student ratio is also good and it impact our lining mainly in the lab they are some faculties with brilliant membership quality . Faculties are always available but sometimes but sometimes and some of but some of them are not as good.

Dream place to live

Campus area as well as the environment of my college were very good . Also a lot of space was there for different sports activities
There were TEQIP fund available for the conference and other different research activities

Dislikes

Food were not good on that place tehat was the biggest problem
Transportation facility was not up to the mark that was one of the major problem

Faculty:

Most of the faculties was well qualified . Few of them are the alumni of this college itself. The research area of their faculties is superb. Mostly many faculties are very helpful for all the students. Few faculties are very dedicated towards their work and used to be in their cabin till 8-9pm in night

In time of the girls hostel is too early
The hostel warden of the girls hostel is extremely rude and I'll mannered

Faculty:

There are enough teachers in the institution, and they all have a different effective method of teaching , they are quite helpful , and they give a fair chance to interact with them and get involved in the class obviously there are few exceptions

mess food is not too good but you can go for it.

Faculty:

Faculty members are good. Many of them are PHd holders or Mtech bachelors. Some assistant professors are good and they can explain any topic very well. Faculty must improve, their teaching way. The faculties are good.
