Campus area as well as the environment of my college were very good . Also a lot of space was there for different sports activities
There were TEQIP fund available for the conference and other different research activities

Food were not good on that place tehat was the biggest problem
Transportation facility was not up to the mark that was one of the major problem

Course Curriculum Overview :

As my area of specialisation was Power system so in point of view the syllabus was well defined . My complete course was of 2years where for the first year we have course work and in second year we have to do research in respective field. So overall it was good

Class Size : 15Course Fees : INR 80000 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

For every GATE qualified student there were stipend of 12400/- per month as a scholarship. Including mess and hostel the fees was around 50000/- per semester Tution fee was around 35000/- per semester And complete cost of MTech in NIT Agartla is around 150000/-

Campus Life :

There is Annual function of 3 days in every year where many cultural and technical programs held as well as DJ night in last day. There is a big sport complex available in NIT Agartala where different types of Indore games facilities as well as swimming pool available

Admission :

To take admission in MTech we need to appear in Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) And after the gate result if once get qualified he as to appear in the CCMT councling The cut off is around all India rank 6000 for UR And AIR 10000 for OBC as well as AIR 18000 for SC/ST

Faculty :

Most of the faculties was well qualified . Few of them are the alumni of this college itself. The research area of their faculties is superb. Mostly many faculties are very helpful for all the students. Few faculties are very dedicated towards their work and used to be in their cabin till 8-9pm in night

Mtech at Icfai tripura

Course Curriculum Overview:

From my experience,since the university has various departments,the student to teacher ratio is very high.Moreover the curriculum is outdated and you could rather apply to this university as a last option.

The college is completely focused on improving its placement quality, which is why the placement record improves and grows year after year. NITA, where nature comes to life.

Remarks:

this institute was veryConsiderate about meritorious students who might not have good gate score. No extra fee was charged for non GATE admission. my course was relatively new so special attention was given to tbe students in the teaching process. It is a National Institute which is usually a higher echelon institute.Yet the teaching staff was humble and far more considerate about the problems a student face. The only down side was the administration department some of the students had to face a lot of issues when ot came to the disbursement of stipend. The faculty did a great job navigating the classes during the pandemic but the same tenacity and dedicated was a little wanting from the administrative department.

Non-GATE admission for me. GATE is recommended

Remarks:

NIT Agartala is growing at a very fast rate in terms of infrastructure and placement drives. There are many acclaimed faculties which also happen to have very good ties with companies such Intel and L&T. In terms of hostels and playgrounds, they are newly inaugurated and are kept very neat and clean. Technical Club such as BAJA stays very active and have also won the competition with other top tier colleges in the past. Laboratories are kept in a good condition and students get freedom to work there through day and night. It provides a clean and healthy environment for students to learn and grow.

A Very good infrastructure in my college

Remarks:

Everything is fine but the college is far away from the market so the environment is very good but u have to pay to reach markets, the hostel is also very good but the food is not good according to me because here no milk items are available.

A college where you can learn everything

Remarks:

Location is very isolated from the rest of India but it has an airport and railway. No pvr no pizza hut no dominos and no good cinema hall. So if you like pizza then you will not like this city. Also it is hell for movie goers.
