NIT Agartala is good for CSE, ESE and EIE branch students. Almost 80-90% got placed from these branches
The sports facilities in NIT AGARTALA are of top quality. The Atal Bihari Vajpayee sports complex are very big on area

Dislikes

The location of NIT AGARTALA is not good from my experience. The city is about 20-24 kms away from institute.
The professors are not up to mark. Around 90-95% professors there are from locals.

Internships Opportunities:

Yes you can get many internship opportunities from college if you are from circuital branches like CSE ESE EE and EIE. Besides these branches other branches like mechanical, civil, chemical students have to look for other internships or online internship.

A Good College

The infrastructure is good with seperate buildings for seperate departments helping students to focus on that particular field of interest
The faculty is highly qualified with a bunch of them having international degrees or work experiences abroad.

While infrastructure is good, there can be a little more shift towards maintaining them
The mess food needs improvement for the most part.

Multiple companies come with internship opportunities. Some are government ones and some are private companies. They offer stipends for the duration of internships. ICs(Internship Coordinators) let the other students in their respective branches know of the opportunities that come and help them out for off campus internship applications too.

Honest review of NIT Agartala

The perks of being in a national instiute is that you great a good friends circle who really motivates you to study and work hard
NIT Agartala has a really hug campus . Its covered with greenery and its quite refreshing to be there

The location is bit far from main city . Its approximately 20kms from the main city
Faculties and professors are average . It mainly depends on the branch . Some branch have really great teachers whereas some branches donot have

There are many companies that come for placements . Some of them are microsoft, paypal, ongc, flipkart. Students get oppurtunity in there 3rd year to get internship . Students who are selected as intern may also get pre placement offer if they perform well

Talking about the clubs, generally all the mandatory clubs like NCC, NSS

sorry but this is my 1st year and i have not gone through the process of internships . but i will assure you that once you go through the placement cell companies you will actully going to feel the real meaning of college life

A student's perspective of NIT Agartala

NIT Agartala organizes various cultural and technical events including AAYAM (technical fest) and MOKSHA(cultural fest) which helps students with opportunities to showcase their talent and interact with students of other institutions.
NIT Agartala has a beautiful campus spread over an area of approximately 365 acres, providing ample space for laboratories, hostels, health centre, cafeteria, etc. It is surrounded by plants and trees which helps you connect with the environment.

Climate conditions is hot and humid in NIT Agartala for the major part of the year which is uncomfortable for many of the students.
There is an occasional issues with network and internet connectivity, which is very important for academic and research activities. Also student are provided with limited 2 GB internet data per day which is usually not sufficient for students.

NIT Agartal provides numerous internship opportunities to enhance students' skills and industrial exposure. The training and placement cell( T&p cell) from different branches helps students in securing internships across different engineering and technology disciplines. Reputed companies like oracle, adobe and microsoft visit the campus to recruit interns which often leads to pre-placement offers( PPO). NIT also collaborates with industries and research organization which offers students the chance to work on real-world projects. Student also opt for many research internships through college.

NIT Agartal Campus Review

Good Faculities, Good Academic culture, Good Faculty, Good Campus, Good Labs, Good Culture.

Placement Experience:

there is 60-70% placement. This year CSE & ECE students got 60% placement and EIE & EE got 90% placement, Mechanical, Production, Chemical got 70-80% placement and civil got 50% placement. The placement status is average.

NIT Agartala :- an honest review

Disciplined college, classes take place in a regular manner
Very helpful teacher and well behaved staffs

In time of the girls hostel is too early
The hostel warden of the girls hostel is extremely rude and I'll mannered

Students become eligible for campus placement at end of their 3rd yr. Google, Amazon, Zomato, and Microsoft made near about 15-16 offers and mass recruitment companies also came with huge offers of 80-85%. I hope to get a good placement

mess food is not too good but you can go for it.

As a first year undergraduate i am not in any internship but i can say internship opportunities are always there in our college. Many students are involved in it and completed. Stipend of 25-50 k has been observed

MY EXPERIENCE IN NIT AGARTALA

I really liked the peer group, very diverse and into different kinds of things like some are into coding, some wants to become an IAS officer , few into sports etc.
The faculty are well equipped with knowledge and experience. Most of them are PhD degree holders.

Connectivity is slightly an issue here. Though there are trains connected to various parts but it gets late by almost 12 hours sometimes it is quite frustrating.
Few of the labs could be properly equipped.

Internships are also provided here in NIT AGARTALA. You can either crack an On- campus internship or you could also apply for an off- campus internship. In On campus, your CGPA , DSA skills and project plays a great role while in off campus there is no that much use of CGPA. Same companies visit for internship as those mentioned earlier in the placement section. The stipend depends on the company, your profile and performance, and various other factors but for an estimate you can fetch from 5k to 1lakh of stipend.
