The course if studied further efficiently is high paying and also I chose it personally due to my love for anything space related mechanics. The college is also well known for the course hence my decision. The curriculum and the teachings are very much relevant for the career as I have experience myself understanding concepts during internships. The curriculum can be improved by focusing more on the teaching rather than just taking notes. The teachers prepare well enough to take up surprise tests and the exams are not so hard if you listen to the class.

Main core subject start from the 3rd sem that too you learn the basics of your core stream so till 4 th sem it would be of major basic and some irrelevant low credit subjects. You to study this subject in order to increase and maintain your CGPA

If you expect to have more hands on experience in B.Tech it is not true. Here also you will have more theory subjects than lab but the provided labs are quite efficient in showcasing the theory subjects too. Sometimes subjects might feel like dry but basics has to be studied.

Curriculum is good, but few topics were outdated, for example the CAD lab includes the basis buy lacks in improving it after completion of the semester. And when it comes to exam it is very fair enough and strict invigilation is carried during the exam period.

The course curriculum is very structured and we'll maintained for a friendly environment. All the essentials are included in the course preparation and the contents are very relevant for the specific topics. The course is structured in such a way that it won't become a burden or make frustration the students nor the staffs. A little more practical session could have been implemented but other than that HITS maintains the standard along with the guidelines is the AICTE. Exams and assessment are done in a very systematic way and proper valuation is done timely

1)my dream was to be a engineer and also aim to be in this particular course since i joined i tried hard to get therr 2)My curriculam helps me to take the opportunity in real world 3)yeah some of the AI intiavtives they need to take to attract the students
I choose this course as I want to be a pilot and hence want to know everything about it The faculty is very knowledgeable and qualified and the way of teaching is top notch. Their qualification includes Ph.D in structural engineering etc., The exam were conducted for every one and half month which are mid exams followed by semester examinations.
The aerospace industry is the one which is in the developing category and I had more interest in the aviation sector. So, I joined this course.HITS has a lot of professors and the professors we are provided are highly qualified and more experienced in this sector. They teach from a student's point of view .so one can understand it quickly. Because it is rocket science which is not so easy to understand. We do have 3 internals in which they will consider 2 best scores and Assignment etc have their grades. End-semester exams will be conducted after completion of the syllabus. Grades will be allowance will be in 50 % internal and 50% in ESE.
I choose this course because I had an interest in aviation and every single detail about aviation. The ratio of faculty is equal to the number of students. Almost all the faculties are graduated from IIT's or abroad universities. Almost all faculties have doctorate degrees and have worked with companies like HAL, DRDO, ISRO, etc. So one need not worry about the teaching methodology or one won't face any issues in studying because everyone got their good style of teaching with a great experience. Coming onto term exams this college has Odd Semester System (1,3,5,7)and Even Semester System(2,4,6,8). In the odd Semester system you have 3 internal exams and then the Semester exam and in the even semester system you have 2 internal exams and then the Semester exam. The question paper is set according to yo what has been taught in class nothing else comes from outside. And talking about difficulty level the question paper comes very easy.
the course curriculum is perfect. the syllabus includes all the subjects that are necessary for the course. the faculty is remarkable. the students are made to learn important skills. academics are emphasized by the faculty.
One of my friends studies at Hindustan University. So, I know a little bit about the institute.
Hindustan University is recognized as a great platform for Aerospace Engineering. But the institute owes its reputation to the students who go out of their way to excel in academics without much help from the institute.
According to my friend’s experience, the institute does not offer support of any kind, be it lab equipment, leniency in attendance, or time.
Overall, at Hindustan University you won’t have many facilities, placement offers, or any kind of support. So, it would be better to opt for other options.
One of my cousins is an alumnus at Hindustan University. Not many of his batchmates are working as Aerospace Engineers. Most of them were placed in IT companies through campus placements. The very few who are actually working in a field related to Aerospace Engineering made it there through their own efforts.
The placement report published by the university is as follows:
Academic Year |
Total Number of Offers |
Percentage of Placement |
Number of Companies |
2018-19 |
456 |
78.75% |
77 |
2017-18 |
514 |
78.59% |
50 |
2016-17 |
485 |
77.84% |
75 |
In the academic year of 2018-19, for the department of aerospace engineering, 22 students registered for placement out of which 15 got placed.
A large number of software companies hire from this university. If your only concern is placement, then this might not be the best college for you because the university does not ensure 100% placement.
