About HCAS
Established in 1995, Hindustan College of Arts and Sciences (HCAS) is a unit of Hindustan Group of Institutions, affiliated to the University of Madras, which is one of India’s oldest Universities. The college offers 17 Undergraduate, 7 Post-Graduate, 3 M.Phil and 2 Ph.D Research Programmes. It is affiliated to the university of Madras, Chennai and has been ranked 30th for Social Work by India Today 2020.
The National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) have conferred "Five Star" accreditation to the university and it has been given the status of 'University with Potential for Excellence’ by the University Grants Commission (UGC). The University has produced world-renowned Scientists, Mathematicians, Industrialists, Educationists and Philanthropists etc.

HCAS Chennai Admissions
Hindustan College of Arts and Science offers UG, PG and doctoral-level programmes like B.Sc, B.Com, BCA, BBA, BA, BSW, MSc, MA, MCom, MSW, MPhil and PhD in various specializations.

As per the newest campus drive which happened within the college in the month of February and March 2020, the students performed exceptionally well. About 92% of the students were provided with placements.
- The companies like Infosys, Capgemini, Avasoft, TCS, IndusInd Bank, Cognizant among others had participated within the placement drive.
- Highest salary offered to the scholar was 5.3 LPA, average salary package was 2.8 LPA and lowest package offered by the businesses was 1.2 LPA.
- The roles offered were Accountant, Business Development Executive, Security Analyst and other roles depending upon the specializations.

- The college facilitates the scholars to avail various government scholarships like SC/ST, minority scholarships, Pradhana Mantri Nidhi Yojana, ICCR, etc. It offers various scholarships on merit basis; students with 90% above the percentage of marks would be given concession in their tuition fees.

Eligibility of the course is 50% of marks scored,to find the application form, application fees,and application dates are available on online and offline,no reservations benefits available, the exam level is moderate,and frequency timing is upto 3hrs.

I identified as a relevant course, subjects like human resources, marketing, entrepreneurship gave sound knowledge about the core subject and the practical way of approaching with observation in human resource has helped me out to reach new ideas on research basis.

I took btech-IT but the course in my college is not still good as expected. Practical learning is too poor. Just teaching their self that looks just working for money. Practical learning is average at labs too just copy paste work is going on in labs.

The academic session for 2024 at HCAS Chennai will begin by July 12th 2024.
If you have completed your 10+2 then you can take admissions for B.Com at Hindustan College Of Arts And Science. Check out the official website for more information.
HCAS Chennai does conduct entrance examination for admission to M.Phil and PhD courses. The final admission to the courses is provided on interview basis.
Hindustan College of Arts and Science does not offer BBA in Logistics specialisation. The course is offered only in General specialisation.
Unfortunately, HCAS Chennai doesn’t offer Animation course to the students. However, you can check out the other courses offered at HCAS Chennai Courses & fees.
HCAS Chennai offers Biotechnology under both B.Sc and M.Sc programs with a full-time 3-year and 2-year PG program respectively. And the selection to both is done based on merit in the last qualifying exam.
The total fee of HCAS B.Sc. Computer Science is INR 1.11 lacs. The HCAS Chennai has not classified the fee structure either year-wise or semester-wise.
The eligibility criteria for the course are you must bachelor's degree with a minimum of 55% marks from a recognized university. It charges INR 27,000 for two years as total tuition fees.
The fee structure of the courses is different. It charges from INR 19,350 for the first year course fee to INR 27,000. You must have a minimum of 50% marks in previous qualifications.
