Remarks :
First, for aerospace, there is no good college in India other than IITs.Hindustan is well known for Aeronautics so this is the main reason to join here. We can attempt the online exam which has to apply to the college's official website. The admission is simple, first, we have to attempt the exam if the score is good fine if not then go directly to the campus office there you will get to know all the admission processes. Before Joining this I have searched a lot of blogs and websites, but I found college dunia is very helpful by comparing the colleges that provide the same courses. Course Curriculum Overview :
The aerospace industry is the one which is in the developing category and I had more interest in the aviation sector. So, I joined this course.HITS has a lot of professors and the professors we are provided are highly qualified and more experienced in this sector. They teach from a student's point of view .so one can understand it quickly. Because it is rocket science which is not so easy to understand. We do have 3 internals in which they will consider 2 best scores and Assignment etc have their grades. End-semester exams will be conducted after completion of the syllabus. Grades will be allowance will be in 50 % internal and 50% in ESE.
Internships Opportunities :
Basically, internships are offered to students to know how the industry works. Some of the internships are paid. In internships most of the time we have to observe how its works. But now in these pandemic times, internships are very hard to get as there are online classes.
Placement Experience :
One can eligible for placements from the 7th semester. As it is aviation industry placements are less for this industry compared to others many of the students will opt for higher studies. Many big aero industries will offer placements around 6 LPA.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Here fees very high which cannot afford by a normal middle-class family. Per year the fees will be 385000/- including all the charges. If one has a good score in 12th then he can get a scholarship according to the score. In college, we can do part-time jobs for our daily expenses which started in the early year.
Campus Life :
Yearly we will have 1 fest for sure other one depends on academic circumstances. One thing that impressed me more in this college is the library. The library so good is one can impress by its infrastructure. Any book regarding course is available and magazines. There is a separate section for every course. The classroom environment is so good and is free to sit and good lighting. College also provides scholarships for sports, it has good infrastructure and extracurricular are always encouraged here.There many social groups and clubs run by students. One that I am in is nebula astro club .
Hostel Facilities :
I live in pg that is near to college in padur. Everyone provides with wifi, cool mineral water, washing machine. The menu is quite simple most of the days it is in south Indian style few days it is in north Indian style. Weekly twice there will be non-veg. For pg one can directly go and join.
Interview Experience :
There is no type of ground discussion or interview. But we can appear for the Test. The syllabus is the same as the Jee. There is no need for extra preparation as it is the same syllabus as JEE.
