Likes
- Massive infrastructure with great faculty. Professors are kind and friendly and also help you whenever you ask for them. Labs are wide equipped with all the required equipments for the students. There is also a huge ground for physical activities
- A variety of extra curricular activities like sports dance singing and clubs for social engagement of people with similar interests. Festivals are celebrated grandly in the college along with the event of the year- YARONA which is a blast.
Dislikes
- The hostel food is not that good so hoteliers need to pay and eat from the canteen most of the time due to taste issue.
- The college is fun but not strict enough so people come and go off the campus without permissions most of the time .
Internships Opportunities:
Blue dart is one of the company that offers internship without any stipend. There are other minor companies too. We can supervise and learn the workings of the organisation through the internship. The final year project is very vital for the placement of the student too. Many professors select and set up groups of students to go ahead with projects which are invested on too.

- The college one of the best lab facilities for the course in the state
- Theory and practical go on par so that it’ll be easy to understand
Dislikes
- Although they’ve every lab facilities they’re not used to their fullest
Placement Experience:
So student become eligible for placement in their 4th year ie from 7th semester and internship placements also take place and students from 5th sem are eligible for it. Companies like Boeing and indigo recruit the students based on their skill.
Likes
- Classrooms are well maintained and ambient spacing
- Good campus to take a walk, meet new people and relax
Dislikes
- Coordination between different departments inside college
- Delay in providing marksheets after each semester
Placement Experience:
7 and 8th sem students are eligible for placements. Boeing visited and provided around 40 offers. Indigo came and provided around 40 offers. Some more tech companies like CTS, TCS, and HCL also offered spots. Highest is 44LPA and average is 6 LPA. Around 30% are getting placed since students who work after Bachelors are very less. I am placed in Boeing so I will be working there.
Likes
- The faculty were very supportive and helpful regarding subject knowledge.
- Campus Life was good in terms of interactions with multiple clubs and competition
Dislikes
- The fees department charges you extra unjustified charges.
Internships Opportunities:
The internship opportunities for our department like in Hindustan Aeronautics limited, ISRO, DRDO were given with the help of our faculty reference and guidance. Other intership like BHEL, vayu sastra etc were also taken up by students.
Likes
- There are a lot of lab facilities which makes us feel more comfortable and interesting towards the subject
- The faculties are very friendly and they are very supportive to help the students in all the cases whenever required.
Dislikes
- The campus is situated in a region where water can easily get logged if there is any high rainfall.
- The canteen food sometimes doesn't showup the taste which is required for the students from all the parts of the India
Placement Experience:
Campus placement is very good in Hindustan Institute of Technology and science this year. Lot of companies in all the domain are here to recruitment which include Tata, IndiGo, Boeing, Air India etc . The package offered is also very good with an average of 10LPA. The students are eligible for the placement from their 7th semester and there are a lot of placement drives . Seperate placement assessment and training is given to the students along with the academics to make the students for for attending the aptitude exams and interview. Placement is considered for all the students irrespective of their marks and it depends only in the individual skills and knowledge.

- I liked the college atmosphere and faculty teaching and infrastructure
- I like extra curricular activites in my college
Dislikes
- I dont like the college to be autonomous
- I dont like they have strict rules for not allowing phone inside
Placement Experience:
1) 6 th semester itself college get placement opportunities and most of the students will get placed in 6 th semester itself 2)highest package i could hear is 14lpa and lowest was 3 lpa 3) Around 70 pecent of the people got places 4) To get placed in a good company and be happy with the package what they provide and grow along with it

- This college has the best faculty the teaching methodology is excellent
- Main attraction of the campus is the greenery
Dislikes
- Very few events are being conducted by the college
Internships Opportunities:
For CSE department there were limited intership opportunities but if you have good network with the seniors you can get an opportunity You have to explore more outside to get an internship opportunity In our batch there only few who got an internship offer
Likes
- It's like all other colleges where you learn an wrie exam but in this clg you can be free like in SRM University you'll get the freedom
Dislikes
- Too much fines whatever you do they'll try to suck money frm you and if the issue arises they might even suspend you for months or so
Placement Experience:
From the 5th sem the students will be eligible for the placemes or from the ending of the second year I have no idea about the companies visited since am still in the sem 4 my plans after getting the degree is to get placed in an mnc save some money and to start a own business of mine won't work for others life long
Likes
- The atmosphere of the college which have more trees and peaceful place
- The teachers and students interaction in very friendly manner
Dislikes
- Less space for arts students comparing to engineering
- The classes are at basic level comparing to other blocks of other departments
Internships Opportunities:
We worked this year on internship under various government and NGO institutions, i worked under the archaeological NGO in coimbatore named yakkai we learned there to how to document the manuscripts and how to read them and library maintenance and studied hero stones cave paintings and etc.
