Placements here are decent like not everyone gets package of more than 15 LPA but not poor also . Form 3rd year students can sit for internships. I think around 1000 companies visit LPU every year but it is total including all the schools inside lpu . Highest on campus is 62 i think and average for btech vse is around 6 to 6.5 LPA.

Placements are good and help you usually people get 10 to 12 LPA by doing degree of BBA and for like BTech it will go around 7 to 20 lakhs minimum but in few cases people will not get placement due to their academic records. People get reappeared backlog then they don't get placements but those who are good in study those were good in education. They will get placement easily and help you YasirM got a 300,00,000 package from Lpu and from BTech degree, and it is great for me like having this kind of Placement

Students can apply for the placements from the 6th semester. Companies actively hire students from 6th sem onwards. Companies like TCS, Accenture hire students in bulk about 700-1000 students at once. Also companies like Uniqlo, paytm, meesho come for the placement. The highest on campus placement offered to the student is about 30 lacs by the Amazon. For software development role And average package is around 4 Lac for same. About 40% percent students get placed every year through on campus hiring. While many students continue their studies for the higher education. I have also registered for the on campus placement and fees for it was 16000 for the placement classes

The university does provide placements and more than a 1000 recruiters come here each year. But it's on the student how hard has he prepared for it and his skills. Students get packages starting from 5 lpa to upto 64 lpa.

The course curriculum is fine not that great. In every semester there are new subjects . As i am a cse student, i have studied all the languages from my first sem to last sem but that really puts us in a position of confusion where we have to learn each and everything. Exams are conducted fine after every 4 month . Class assessment happen thrice in a semester

This i must say the curriculam bachelor of technology is really vaste and contains many outadated as well as modern technolgies . Moreover students can opt for Career service registration where they will provide ample of skills and knowledge to crack the big tech giats
I completed BTech CSE from LPU back in 2016. You might say that LPU has changed since then, but I am still in touch with my juniors and here is my experience:
I am a BTech Mechanical graduate from LPU. Here is an honest review on the placement scenario at LPU (in engineering)-
The placement scenario is poor for Civil, Mechanical and Electrical. Few companies visit these departments for placements, and hire a maximum of 5-10 students in total. But if someone knows basic coding, they can sit for IT placements.
Cognizant, Tech Mahindra, etc. visit the CSE/IT departments for mass hiring. Very few core companies visit the ECE department for recruitments, so the students rely on IT companies. A mere 40/50 out of 1000 ECE students get hired by an Electronics company from the campus. The IT companies mass hire students at a CTC of around 3.5 LPA.
This is the engineering placement scenario at LPU.
Being a graduate from LPU, I found the campus life quite joyful as everyone in the university is supportive. I liked the following things about the University:
