Ph.D. (Chemical Engineering) From LPU, Jalandhar

Eligibility For Indian Applicants:

• Pass with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks or equivalent grades prescribed by UGC in the master's degree* (2-year/4-semester master’s degree programme after a 3-year bachelor’s degree Programme#) or equivalent in the relevant subject + LPUNEST + Interview
• Candidate who has completed 1-year/2-semester master's degree* programme after a 4-year/8-semester bachelor’s degree is also eligible provided the candidate should have a minimum of 75% marks in 4-year/8-semester bachelor’s degree in aggregate or its equivalent grade on a point scale wherever the grading system is followed
• A relaxation of 5% marks or its equivalent grade may be allowed for those belonging to SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer)/Differently-Abled, Economically Weaker Section (EWS) and other categories of candidates as per the decision of the Commission from time to time.
• M.Tech./M.E./MS ( with Chemical Engineering / Chemical Technology) or equivalent

Eligibility for International Applicants:

(All Applicants shall fulfill the English Language Requirement (ELR)
a) English as a subject in 10th or higher qualification OR
b) Qualfying Exam in English Medium (need proof from student)
OR
c) IELTS / TOEFL / Cambridge English Certf.

Note:- For Part Time programme candidate must have minimum 2 years of teaching/ industry experience at the time of submitting application.

Research specialization available: Computer Aided Drug Designing, Pharmaceutical Analysis, Synthetic Chemistry, Drug Discovery, Medicinal Chemistry, Chemical Biology, Design Synthesis and Biological Evaluation of Novel Biologically Active Compounds, Molecular Modifications of reported series that lead to a significantly improved understanding of their structure-activity relationships (SAR) / Bio Organic Medicinal Chemistry
