The night life is good you can get out of hostels even at 4 in the morning .

The exam procedure i think is not good it is just after
Mess is bad , lot of competition and I have a great day before I hate that my phone is broken by a student here

IIT ROPAR : A DREAM LAND

Lot of greenery and amazing infrastructure of our college.
Continuous evolution of the college. Proper security and sufficient supply of water and electricity.

Dislikes

Less availability of food spots.For fruits and clothes you have to go out and buy it.
Due to a lot of greenery during summer time a lot of bugs and insects are present.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester internship program starts and students can work on different projects alongside. The companies that visit the college are Google, Texas Electricals, Amazon, Facebook, gigabyte, Nvidia, etc. The college placements percentage is approx. 88%. The highest package is around 55 lakhs and the minimum. Package Is around 6 lakhs. After my degree, I want to start a business related to electrical engineering.

Likes

I liked mostly the environment of the campus, greenery and pollution free environment which are not available in IIT delhi , IIT bombay.
I also liked the teaching way of professor. They are very friendly with the students.

Dislikes

Mostly i liked all things, but the way of seniors interacting with juniors is not good.

Placement Experience:

from the 7th semester, students become eligible for campus placements. In the CS branch, various companies visited our campus like Oracle, American Express, Google, Microsoft, etc. Last year highest package for college was 55 lakh and the average package was around 28 lakh. around 85 percent of students getting placed. I am interested in research after getting the degree.

I liked the teacher staff, sports facilities, mess, cafeteria, cultural and technical opportunities here and all the other things.

Dislikes

I don't like that we don't have ACs in hostel or dirt in in hostels which we have only in the classroom.

Placement Experience:

Students will be eligible for campus placement during their 4th year and internships during their 3rd year. A lot of companies visit here like Google, Microsoft, Flipkart, imb, lnt, and a lot. They also make a placement offer here. Around 70-80 percent of students get their jobs after placement.

I liked hostel facilities because our life's changed here completely.
Advanced teaching equipments like projectors and labs of every kind.

Dislikes

I don't liked security like cycles are lost every other day.
In mess there is lots of people and a new mess is being made to solve it.

Placement Experience:

After 7-8 semesters students become eligible for campus placements many companies visit the campus like Google, IBM, OLA, etc highest package is 63 lacs and the average package for CSE is 28 lacs. In CSE approximately average 93 percent of students get placement. I should opt for doing the job for good earnings or any kind of start-up.

Facilities provided by the institute for academics and other co-curricular activities.
A transport facility for visiting main city.

Dislikes

not much to write.. infrastructure is still in progress..but now it is almost complete
mess food distribution system can be improved

As currently I am in 1st year, don't have much idea about the placement, interns, and companies visiting. But the stats of previous year are quite impressive and growing fast.There is also a organisation CDPC entirely for placement related topics.

because I want software engineering 1:10 FACULTY ratio faculty are highly qualified, from foreign universities and the best colleges in the world teaching method are very simple and beneficial and down-to-earth faculty term exams are very tough considering what they teach

Our Faculty and their perspective as we can do everyrthing
Hostel Facility and its well maintained structure

Dislikes

Very hard syllabus and sufficiently low time for preperation
Market is very far from campus and we have to book public transport for very small task

Placement Experience:

We have a very good placement cell with 100% placements in some branches and avg. salary is over 15 lacs and we got offers from 7th Sem and company like amazon google meta also visited with a good sum of salary

the campus have so much open area , so we feel touch to nature not like a city.
Placement ratio and average package is very good for my collage.

Dislikes

The campus is developing thats why so many lab are under construction.
Cafetria area is small and new cafeteria is not available till now.

Placement Experience:

For 5th sem. students can apply for internships through exams and interviews conducted by companies. The highest and average package offers are 70 lakhs and 18 lakhs respectively. Colleges have approx. 90 to 98 percent of students placed.
