Ouat is a government college which provides you alot of benefits starting from education to sports.
I got graduated this year and it was a very nice experience

Dislikes

The classes are a little small and there is no proper presentation system
They don't provide placement which is a demerit

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choosed this course because i always wanted to go in a medical field. In our department the lab is literally very small so i would suggest our HOD to improve it. Our exams are always held in our assembly hall where the ac doesn't work during summer but it works during winter????

Likes

The best thing about this college are it's facilities and professors. You can reach out to anyone for help and they will help you everytime.
Next, as the number of students are limited in an honours batch, we can easily grab the topics and understand them. Because it gives a coaching like vibe. And yeah all the rooms have AC (air conditioner) facility.

Dislikes

The college building is quite small in size. It could be larger and more occupied
The college has no hostel facility but soon it should have one.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum includes activity related to your course. E.g. visiting a zoological research institute to learn more about animal biology. The curriculum is very moderate so that you can involve yourself in cocurricular activities. The syllabus also focus on daily life application and gives vast knowledge about human physiology and modern biological topics like molecular biology. The curriculum should include more topics like biotechnology and nanotechnology to provide more scope to the students. It will enhance their skills in day to day life. More emhapsis on practical knowledge should be there. The difficulty level is moderate and the timing of exams is morning 3hours with a frequency of 2 times a year.

OUAT - A homely institute for newbies

Likes

The communication between teachers and students was so friendly. The doubt clearing sessions conducted before exams were so fruitful
The campus life was so good that every function taking from small to big has equal importance.

Dislikes

The internship availability in the scientific and applied science field was so required. Students should at least get scholarship from own university
No doubt the teaching was good but guest faculties were teaching the best. So the permanent faculties don't show up much

the curriculum is quite apt for the students of any branch reading in the university. The curriculum is made by different highly qualified teachers in a group discussion meeting. The course and curriculum are changed every year so there isn't any particular areas to improve

Likes

College Festival is a good thing. But, it's is decided by the Administration.
Some faculties know how to teach. Faculties are PhD holder from iits or top colleges.

Dislikes

Infrastructure was underdeveloped at our time.
Classroom doesn't have air conditioner. Also few of them don't even have fans and bulbs.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is divided into 8 terms. Each term consists of 8 to 10 subjects. In last few terms you have the internship after that you have to submit it and give a presentation in front of the faculties. 7th & 8th term are based on individual preference or electives.

The faculty is very good especially in chemistry. My course was of 2 years and there were theory and practical classes as well and the practical class was conducted very strictly. The faculty used to complete the entire syllabus and also clear the doubts of their students

The instruction field, the poly house and well set farm.
Library is good and you have ample amount of books for knowledge and it also have Computer access.

Dislikes

It is little bit far from the main city .
Course is vast and time is less so Course goes very fast sometimes unable to catch.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Basically as in Maximum cases one opt for this course due to failure in NEET as a plan B or as a Bsc course than the common Other Bsc course. As far the course is concerned we will connect to the nature more in this course Full practical knowledge is needed which makes it more interesting. Along with it has vast scope in future. Here we have both digital and physical methods for the teaching part. As per exams is concerned 1 semester have 2 fold examination 1 mid term and 1 end sem along with practical examination. On examination difficulty the greater the preparation the greater the outcome. Go well with Books and your own personalized notes then you are 101% good to go with exams.

Pros and Cons of joing ouat

The faculty members have the great style of teaching and making the things easy
Way more emphasis on practical knowlege and regular practical classes

Dislikes

No market is near the college campus of ouat bhawanipatna
High tuition fees for the cost sharing students and less scolarship

Agriculture is a broad course in which there is a scope of jobs in many private and government sector as india is agricultural country, there is a lot of things to learn like the life of rural society of india, learning the practices of doing sustainable farming and development of economy through agriculture The course has some disadvantages like it is too much bulky and hard because of huge number of subjects per semester The course should keep in mind the development of knowledge through particular area of interest in a student Exams are difficult as well as contains high level of mental ability to be used.The semester are 8 and there is midterm in every semester excluding the last two semesters

From 7th semester students are eligible for campus placement Forest assisted work experience is included in 7th semester in which students go for 2month of internship under an ACF about 65percent students are placed in campus I plan for giving UPSC after degree
