Majhighariani Institute of Technology and Science offers admission to UG and PG courses in the fields of Engineering, Management, and Computer Applications. The UG courses include B. Tech, BBA, and BCA, while the PG courses include MCA.

To study B.Tech, students must pass 10+2 and qualify either JEE Main or OJEE. To study BBA, students must pass 10+2 from CBSE, CHSE Odisha, or any other equivalent board. To study BCA, students must pass 10+2 from CBSE, CHSE Odisha, or any other equivalent board. To study MCA at MITS Rayagada, students must complete their graduation. MITS Rayagada has a big campus and many facilities at its disposal for the students. Given below are the brief details regarding the campus and facilities available at MITS Rayagada:

• Library: MITS Rayagada has a library with nearly 29,000 books on its shelves. The library is stocked with textbooks, reference books, journals, research publications, periodicals, newspapers, and magazines. It also features a digital library, which offers easy and free access to information for the students and faculty.
• Sports facilities: The institute has a big playground of nearly 3.85 acres. MITS Rayagada has an annual sports function which is part of the Basant Utsav. Students can participate in several events like Running Race, Long Jump, Cricket, Volley Ball, Discuss Throw, Javelin Throw, Shot-put, Chess, Carom, and fun games like Math Race, Sack Race, and Lemon Spoon
• Hostel: There are separate hostels for boys and girls at MITS Rayagada. The institute offers various facilities at the hostels, such as wireless internet connectivity. There are three hostels on the campus and two in the city.
