Fees and Financial Aid:

Talking about the fee, it is about 1.5 lakh per semester. Also most of the scholarships are onky for sc, st caste students which weive off their tuition fee completely. They only had to pay for hostel and mess fee. My friend from cs branch has the scholarship and has to pay only 12000 or something fee.

32000 for odd sem, 35000 for even semester. Mess charges or hostel fees are not added in the above mentioned fees. Mess fees varies from 15000 to 18000 for each semester. NSP scholarship will be availed by the Sc,St students of the college.

First time experience in an IIT

The tution fees is 1 lakh per semester i.e 2 lakhs per year,as there are two semesters in an year.The hostel fees of about 20 thousand rupees including about mess and stay .The price for each day is about 150 rupees for food which is cut from the mess fees paid at the starting of the semester . This tution fees is not applicable for other category people like ews and sc/st .

THE FEE STRUCTURE FOR YEARLY: - FOR EVERY YEAR THE TUTION FEE WAS 2 LAKHS. - HOSTEL FEE WAS EIGHTEEN THOUSAND (18,000 RS) PER SEMESTER. - FOR SC,ST CANDIDATES THERE IS NO TUTION FEE. - THERE IS REIMBURSEMENT FOR OTHER THAN SC,ST CANDITATES ON TUTION FEE. - FOR SC,ST CANDIDATES ALSO THERE IS A SCHOLARSHIP. - AND ALSO THERE ARE SOME BANKS IN THE CAMPUS WHO ARE READY TO GIVE THE LOANS FOR EDUCATION. - FOR EVERY YEAR IN SEMESTER 1 WE HAVE TO PAY EXTRA TWO THOUSAND NINE THIRTY RUPEES (2,930 RS).

City is also close so that we don't need to spend much on autos.Teachers are friendly and didn't even expect that kind of behaviour from those experienced faculty. Curriculum is also very decent for all branches and cources.

Generally open category students will have fee 100000 INR tution fee, 19000 INR institute fee and 18000 INR of mess fee ,per semester. For students with 100000 to 300000 annual income, tution fee is 33333 INR and rest same. For students with less than 100000 income or SC or ST or PWD tution fee is nil. They just have to pay mess and institute fee. Other scolarships options are also available. If we opt for those this fee remission is not valid.

Course fee is affordable as I have paid 40000 per semester which includes everything from hostel to tuition fees, college fees is around 25k while mess charges are around 18k. If you belong to sc st catagory you will get a relaxation of 5k. Mtech students get a scholarship of 12500 every month

Dislikes

At times the huge campus might make it difficult commute. The grading system and first year courses need improvement, of all the syllabus must be updated from time to time. And more competent must be involved while grading.

The tuition for each semester is 1,00,000. The mess fee would be 18,000 and other charges like rental water and electricity, other facilities and hostel overhead charges amounts upto another 18,000. Thus for each semester you will be paying 1,36,000. The reemission will be applicable if you belong to certain category or if you have less family income. --> For SC/ST/Pwd candidates tuition fee is fully reemitted and they have to just pay 36,000. --> For OBC and General Canditates if the income is below 5 lakh 2/3 rd of tuition fee will be remitted rest must be paid There willbe various scholarships available that would be circulated by the management
