Entrance Exam Details

Candidates seeking BTech admission to NIT Meghalaya will use their JEE Main 2022 scores. There will be 75 questions on the test in total. Additionally, each subject will include three sections, such as mathematics, physics, and chemistry.

The questions in the sections on physics, chemistry, and math are equally weighted. Four points will be given for each correctly answered question.

One mark will be subtracted from an MCQ for each incorrect response. Questions with numerical value answers will receive 4 marks for each correct response and a negative mark of -1 for an incorrect answer or an unattempted question.

  • Fill up the online application form on the NIT Meghalaya website, and upload all necessary documents.
  • Officials from the Institute will examine the documentation. The office will email the students and inform them if there is a problem with their certificates.
  • Following the admissions process, you will be given a roll number. The faculty adviser will also provide you with details on how to register for online classes and get your Roll No. You will receive your Roll No. through email.
  • Each student will be assigned a faculty advisor, who will assist in the enrollment process.
