Campus is really big and there are no restrictions

Dislikes

Girls hostels are not 24*7 while boys hostels are
Even after two incidents they haven't appointed a new psychologist

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am a graduate in biotechnology so for me genomic science was ideal as I was interested in it. There could be more experiments in the practical sessions and more placement opportunities. As of now there are no placements. Also the department could bring in some international and national conferences too.

The university campus is 310 acres and well equipped. There is free shuttle bus service through out the campus and to the nearby town. There are also electric buggy for women as well as bicycles for students to travel inside the campus.
They also provide electric wheel chair for physically disabled. The labs, class rooms and hostel rooms are of food quality. Elevators are provided in both department. The faculties are student friendly and classes are easy to interact with.

Dislikes

The common lab have various equipments but some needs proper service and repair. Though we get great lab experience during dissertation, the couse practicals are too basic for the course.
Though the department and faculties are of high level the administration needs a serious improvements.

Placement Experience:

There are departments with placements and university has got a placement cell. There are also various career guidance classes, Innovation and entrepreneurship development centre(IEDC) to support students. But my course is more of a research oriented and as such I can apply for phd opportunities myself. The faculties will help in getting internships, recommendations and journal publications as long as long as we are interested.

Our department has been conducted many programs for us so that we can understand the scope of our subject in our real life .The teachers are completing the syllabus in time before exam .Teachers interaction between students is vey good .

Sports facilities are good. They promote all sports.
Hostel rooms and care takera are very good. Care taker support the student very well.For example if a fan complained the repair it maximum 2 days

Dislikes

Absense of a quality ground is visible. I hope it will make after 1-2 years
Some time Hostel food become a disaster. Absence of quality cook is the main problem

Course Curriculum Overview:

This Course have lota of job oportunities in the future. I think it will help me to make a good career. This course provide me a 3 days field work in a week. It would help me to improove my communication skills.The Course curriculum is comparitively effective but should improove the teaching style of the faculties.

Campus, Hostel, syllabus, Library and the overall experience is too Good.

Dislikes

Here there is continuous assessment, so we won't get enough time for studies, that's we have to rush after each sem. The time span for each sem is approximately 90 days.. In it there is two internal exam and a End sem exam.
The mark provided for internal exam is greater than the external exam. That's threre exist a 60+40 system. 40 marks for internals and 60 for externals.

Placement Experience:

There is a well established placement cell in Cu kerala. Many students showing good academic and showing good performance in Interviews will get placements in topmost companies.After my post graduation i wll opt for teaching.

Situated in a remote area,transportation and accessibility problem is there.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I like the course,Public administration and Policy Studies.This subject covers every aspect of administration and policy making.The faculty here is friendly and good.The ratio of girls and boys are 60:40. Most of the faculties are well qualified as some of them were also part of the UPSC board.The teaching method is also very interesting. We will be having a compulsory internship in third semester and compulsory dissertation in fourth semester.A semester is around 3-4 months which includes semester exams, presentation and also midterm exams. The passing rate is 90%.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The institute provides exposure to various fields of physics and has a pretty good laboratory facilities and facilities. Curriculum is designed in accordance with the NET and GATE examination. Examinations are conducted time bound. Moreover the curriculum gives importance to continuous evaluation more than end sem assessment.

I would like to study English that's why I chose this course. Faculties are good and the student ratio at CUK may vary in different departments and academic programs. Good academic record with at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade at the master's degree level in the relevant subject from an Indian University or an equivalent Degree from a foreign University.Semester-wise exams are conducted.

Course Curriculum Overview:

BA. International Relations at the Central University of Kerala is a undergraduation program which has adopted new education policy of the central government. The program is the only Under graduation program in international relations which is provided by a university in the country. I am very fond of international politics, so I have chosen this course. The department has 40 seats in a year and faculties are permanent and Qualified with NET+Doctoral Degrees and have experience of a long period in teaching. Exams are genuine and not so easy to pass. Only the students who are aware of the concepts clearly can pass the tests.
