Course Curriculum Overview :

I like the course,Public administration and Policy Studies.This subject covers every aspect of administration and policy making.The faculty here is friendly and good.The ratio of girls and boys are 60:40. Most of the faculties are well qualified as some of them were also part of the UPSC board.The teaching method is also very interesting. We will be having a compulsory internship in third semester and compulsory dissertation in fourth semester.A semester is around 3-4 months which includes semester exams, presentation and also midterm exams. The passing rate is 90%.

Class Size : 60Course Fees : INR 14200 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee is 14200 per year. It is a normal fee for many of the students as they also provide E-grants from the government.The living expense here is normal.The hostel fee is 3540 per semester and mess bill is around 3000.The scholarship available is NSP and central sector.There is a passive placement cell in CUK

Campus Life :

The main and the annual fest here is the Cankama which is conducted in the month March.There is a plenty of collection there in library.Around 60000 books and journals are there in CUK library. We are having smart classrooms.Every sports events and games are conducted regularly.A well maintained physical education dept is there.University participate in different south zone games.There are many instagram handles in the name of CUK.

Admission :

I got eligible to this Central University of Kerala via passing Central University Entrance Test. you will get the link in the official site of CUET.The application fee increased to 1200 for 2 subjects this year.There are adequate reservation for all categories. The improvement the student community need is the transparency in the selection list.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Literature is something I loved since schooling. I remember going to school library and reading a lot of Shakespeare's novels and other books. I always admired world of Shakespeare. My interest in books and literature made me choose English literature. When I was searching for a good college, a lot of people suggested Nehru College which had the best faculties of English. College was a bit far from home but I decided to give it a try which was worth it. I had the best experience in nehru. The curriculum evaluation makes sure that all the objectives required for a student is fulfilled. They make sure that the students are getting the best possible way of learning. Also they give us insights about the further studies. Along with academics, the faculties make sure that they prepare us for various competitive exams like UGC NET. The only area where the literature students face stress is exams. The paper is very lengthy that students find it difficult to complete the exam on time.

Just experience it.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Good faculty and availability of museum and library,more than academics the college and course provides extra benefits such as communication skills, personal development etc.. Teaching method is still the old school method were teachers spoon feeds the students it must be limited and self teaching methods should be encouraged more,there the sem exams will be 2:30 hrs and those are more subjective and extra papers included languages like Hindi , Malayalam,Tamil, English.(it's according to institutions)

Course Curriculum Overview:

Although this course was taken with great interest, the need for improvement was realized during the course. There was no continuation of what was studied in each semester. The curriculum should be improved and an updated syllabus should be included. Exams are conducted at regular intervals. There is a growing need to improve the teachers because being a government college it seems that in many cases the teachers are not doing their job and the class is progressing only through seminars and presentations. At the same time, it has been possible to get to know the scholars and gain a lot of knowledge through some of their classes
