Eligibility Criteria

Master’s Degree in the concerned /allied/relevant subject with a minimum of 55% marks, or with a CGPA of 6.0 in the 10 point scale in the qualifying examination, from a University recognized by the University Grants Commission.
Up to 5% relaxation in the minimum requirement of marks is granted to SC/ST candidates.

Selection Process

Candidates have to apply and appear for the CUET Exam 2023.
Candidates who have qualified UGC/ National/NET/ shall be exempted from entrance examination of P.hD and shall be eligible directly for appearing in Personal Interview.
The selection of candidates will be made on merit prepared from marks obtained in the entrance exam, in Personal interview (PI), and in their Post Graduation examination.
Selected candidates will have to present in Group Discussion and Personal Interview.
Selected candidates can take admission on the required date.
For admission to Ph.D. Program, the candidates working in CUK Research Projects and those holding Financial Assistance from Govt. of India/Rajiv Gandhi National Fellowship (RGNF)/Maulana Azad National Fellowship (MANF), etc. are required to pass in the written entrance test as well as Interview
The candidates having any financial assistance such as RGNF, MANF, etc., will be given priority over those without any financial assistance, subject to qualifying entrance test.

How to Apply for Central University of Kerala Admissions 2024?

Candidates need to apply online only. For online application, candidates need to visit the homepage of CUCET
On successful online application submission with online/debit card/credit card successful payment, an automated e-mail and SMS will be sent to the mail id & mobile number you have given in the application form.
For online application and payment made through “Challan”, candidates may have to wait for 7 days and if they do not receive it within 7 days, they may send an e-mail to CUCET e-mail address queries@cucet.co.in.
Take a printout for the same as future reference.

Note: Priority in P.hD seats will be given to candidates with JRF/NET. They have to apply for CUCET 2018 but candidates with JRF are exempted from appearing for CUCET 2018 in CU Kerala.

Ques. On what criteria college provides scholarships?

Ans. College basically provides scholarships to the meritorious students. This is done in order to create an environment of healthy competition among the students. College also offers some fee concession to the students from economically weaker backgrounds.

Ques. Can the course fee be paid in installments per year?

Ans. The University has provided an option to pay the fee for every year during its beginning as per college fee structure.

Ans. Yes, Hostel facilities have been provided for boys and girls. It provides students with delicious food and provides options too.

Ans. Yes, seats are available for reserved categories for all the courses, 15% of seats are reserved for SC, 7.5% for ST, 27% for non-creamy layer OBC candidates.

Ques. What are the basic criteria to be eligible for the MPH program at CUK?

Ans. The candidates with a minimum aggregate of 50 percent in graduation (any discipline) are eligible to apply for the MPH program at CUK.

Ques. How are admissions done at CUK?

Ans. CUK admissions for both UG and PG programmes are based on scores in the Central Universities Common Entrance Test (CUET). And admission to the Ph.D. program is based on a valid score in UGC NET followed by an Interview round conducted by the University.

Ques. How will I know that my application has reached the admission section?

Ans. It will be done through the Online Application, on the successful online application submission with fee payment through resources like Net-banking/Debit Card /Credit Card/UPI, an automated email and SMS will be sent to the e-mail ID & mobile number the candidate had given in the application form.

Ques. What are the eligibility criteria to apply for the BA programme?

Ans. The candidates must have passed Class 12 or equivalent in relevant discipline with a minimum aggregate of 50 percent to apply for the BA program at CUK.

Ques. Are scholarships offered to students at CUK?

Ans. Yes, the students are offered the scholarships, which are:

Postgraduate Indira Gandhi Scholarship for single girl child pursuing a PG level program offered by the University. A scholarship of INR 3,100 per month is given to such students.
The Government of Kerala Scholarship to SC/ ST students for overseas studies.

Ques. Are vehicles allowed inside the campus after the admission?

Ans. The use of vehicles or parking of vehicles is prohibited inside the campus except for physically challenged students, who can use their carrier wheelchair with the permission of the registrar.

Students are encouraged to use cycles or solar bikes. If not, they may park their vehicles near the entrance of the campus.

Ques. Are students provided a hostel facility at CUK? If yes, what is the timing of the visiting hours?

Ans. Yes, the college provides the hostel facility to its students. The visiting hour timing is 5 PM to 7 PM. The hostel gate closes at 8 PM, all the students are instructed to be inside the hostel till 8 PM.

Ques. Is hostel money refundable at CUK?

Ans. No, the hostel money is not refundable, if the money is delayed and not paid on time, then a fine of INR 50 is to be paid on a daily basis. ‘However, an amount of INR 2000 as caution money will be given back to the students at the time of leaving the hostel which was taken at the starting of the session.

One of the best institution in kerala.

Likes

The university campus is 310 acres and well equipped. There is free shuttle bus service through out the campus and to the nearby town. There are also electric buggy for women as well as bicycles for students to travel inside the campus.
They also provide electric wheel chair for physically disabled. The labs, class rooms and hostel rooms are of food quality. Elevators are provided in both department. The faculties are student friendly and classes are easy to interact with.

Dislikes

The common lab have various equipments but some needs proper service and repair. Though we get great lab experience during dissertation, the couse practicals are too basic for the course.
Though the department and faculties are of high level the administration needs a serious improvements.

Admission:

The course admission is besed on a national level entrance test called Common University Entrance test(CUET) conducted by NTA. The cuttoff varies every year. The course admission will be available only after the CUET results are published. The application will be available in the university website. The entrance exam needs some good preparation if you need a good score. There are reservations for SC, ST, EWS, physically disabled in each course.

eligibility for this college is cuet exam the student should qualify for the exam with good marks in cuet the student should pass any subject which has the computer as the main or complementary subject, the application is through the samarth portal application fees is there that is non refunded. For admission first, we have to pay the fees through online so it's confirmed. Like Govt jobs, reservation is there for GENERAL, EWS, OBC, SC, and ST. The exam is conducted between 5 months each semester one intership is there between the first year and the second year which is in summer vacation

Sports facilities are good. They promote all sports.
Hostel rooms and care takera are very good. Care taker support the student very well.For example if a fan complained the repair it maximum 2 days

Dislikes

Absense of a quality ground is visible. I hope it will make after 1-2 years
Some time Hostel food become a disaster. Absence of quality cook is the main problem

Eligibility of the course is bachelor degree in any subject. We can find the application form, application fees and application dates in the university website. Students have to attend a all India level entrance exam called CUET(Common University Entrance Test).

Campus, Hostel, syllabus, Library and the overall experience is too Good.

Dislikes

Here there is continuous assessment, so we won't get enough time for studies, that's we have to rush after each sem. The time span for each sem is approximately 90 days.. In it there is two internal exam and a End sem exam.
The mark provided for internal exam is greater than the external exam. That's threre exist a 60+40 system. 40 marks for internals and 60 for externals.

Admission:

Eligibility for Msc Botany admission in Cental University of kerala is he/she must clear CUET PG entrance examination after a minimum of 50% mark in Graduation in the same or equivalent subjects. The application for the CUET PG entrance examination can be done from the official website of NTA. There is reservation for OBC and physicaly disabled. The MSc/Mcom/MEd courses is semester wise. I got eligible to this Central University of Kerala via passing Central University Entrance Test. you will get the link in the official site of CUET.The application fee increased to 1200 for 2 subjects this year.There are adequate reservation for all categories. The improvement the student community need is the transparency in the selection list.

Libraries are not 24×7 and sonis the campus.
Ways to commute inside campus could be improved.

Admission:

Bachelor's degree in physics is the minimum qualification for this course. The admission was based on the rank obtained in cuet entrance examination. In cub reservation for OBC, SC, ST and EWS students are part of the admission.

B.A. At least 50% marks or equivalent in Plus Two from a recognized Board (studied in the 10+2 system). All information related to college and applications is found on the official website. Reservation benefits for the SC, ST, OBC students. There is no need for any improvements in college admission.

Admission:

I cracked CUET(Common University Entrance Test)-UG and got good marks on the test. Through CUET I was eligible for Delhi University too. But I choose the Central University of Kerala due to some personal issues. The eligibility for Admission to the Central University of Kerala is that good marks in CUET are +50% above the mark in the 12th Boards. I had no reservation availed.

Admission:

There was an entrance exam called CUET for admission to the central university. Once the results came, when I made the cut-off marks I was contacted by the corresponding department (Economics) in the university for the course I applied for. I was given a brief about the college and facilities, course structure, etc, and was asked to pay an admission fee immediately.
