Mineral and Metallurgical engineering is an interesting core degree. There was a decent faculty-to-student ratio and the faculties are equipped with great knowledge in their respective fields. They also have many projects with them on which the students can work on.

I chose this course because of the brand value of the Indian Institute of Technology Indian School of Mines when it comes to Earth Science-related fields. The student-faculty ratio varies but for my course, it is quite good. The faculty are very knowledgeable and helpful and the exams are conducted in a timely manner
