Hyderabad University Hostel For Male

Fee: ₹4,350 - ₹6,850

The university hostel is furnished with all the modern amenities and of the total number of seats in the hostels, 22.5% are reserved for candidates belonging to S.C/S.T. and 3% for Physically challenged students.

Fee structure of the hostel is as follows:

Note:- * To be collected in two instalments Rs. 2500/- at the time of admission and Rs.2500/- at the beginning of their 3rd year of study.

There is a huge liberary available in university of Hyderabad
The spatial area of University is around 2000 acres making it more free

Dislikes

Politics at the University is more by various Political parties
Hostels should be improved. Sometimes there will be power cuts

Hostel Facilities:

After the counselling process is done Hostel is alloted. At first hostel is not alloted to Hyderabad students but later it will be alloted. The facilities at the hostel are not too good. But they are okay. Each room has 2 members which makes it great.

I like the greenary of the campus..and nature.The campus has many beautiful places and animals such as peacocks deers and many more
Coming to the faculty there are very highly talented and their teach skills are outstanding

Dislikes

The quality of mess food is below average
Even the mess fee are little high.. even though the food is bad

Hostel Facilities:

The hostel room is setup for 2 people. There are many hostels and each hostel has 300 rooms..the atmosphere in hostel is very good The mess food quality is below average..the menu varies from day to day..Non veg on every Wednesdays and Sundays

HCU offers a vibrant academic environment and a commitment to research excellence.The campus is known for its lush greenery and modern facilities which create an inspiring setting for students.
The supportive community and numerous extracurricular opportunities enhance the overall student experience making HCU a distinguishable place for higher learning

Dislikes

The infrastructure while generally good can sometimes feel outdated or in need of maintenance. The administrative process may be slow and cumbersome which can create frustration for both students and staff
The optometry department needs to be improve its infrastructure maily the clinics . It does not have all the equipments which makes it difficult for the students to learn practically

Hostel Facilities:

For hostels we have two types. The one which is an old one lacks lot of facilities and the ones which are new are pretty good . We have 2 persons in each room with 2 beds ,2 chairs , 2 study table and 2 cupboards . We will a mess secretary for each month and the menu of the food will be decided by the mess secretary. You will get the hostel once if your admission id confirmed and it is very affordable

After allotment of seat you will be alloted in hostel hostel has less fee hostels have good facilities and hot water daily morning comming to food food is ok not much cost nearly 100 rs per day hostel registration is done after allotment

Know our HCU

Likes

Hcu have one of the best departments and professors. The Department of sociology is ranked in top 500 in the world in 2023.
Hcu also has some national and international conferences. The campus is filled with students from various diversity and culture

Dislikes

The political Space is very influential and strong compared to other state universities.
The mess food is cheap but not as good.

Hostel Facilities:

The food is somewhat good . The mess provide veg and non veg for students. The food in a day consists of rice , chapati, dal, chole bature and many other curries like brinjal, egg, potato, chicken and etc The mess fee ranges from 2500 to 3000 in a month . The hostel room rent is 1000 per year The student who get admission in HCU will get hostel in the same day and the registration and hostel process is very fast . There is enough hostels to give enough facilities to every student of Hcu. The hostel is affordable and very good for students

University of Hyderabad: green campus with nice life

Uoh is a green campus with 2500 acres. The quality of infrastructure is very good, including campus amenities and learning facilities.
The campus has a health centre, yoga centre, jim separately for women if needed. Campus provides bus services around the campus. All these services are totally free.

Dislikes

In hostels two person are occupied in one room. This ciuld be changed and a person can have room should be allowed.
Intoxicants is easily around the campus such as weed, alcohol etc.

Hostel Facilities:

Every room in the hostel accommodates two students except phd hostels. A room has one bed, table, cupboard, charginf port etc. A student has to pay 500 rupees for every semester for hostel services. Every student will get a room except students whose home is nearby. Mess fee ranges around 2,000 a month depending upon the basic meal price a month. Hostels are jnside the campus normally near the classes.

The university of Hyderabad is one of the most coveted universities in the state. It has NACC and the hostel accommodation on campus was provided to over 4500 students in 23 hostels but the mess food is not upto the mark

Campus is filled with people from all walks of life and you can learn a lot from them
campus is big and filled with greenery, lakes, and wildlife.

Dislikes

Hostel's bathrooms and toilets get dirty fast as many people use them.
Management is inefficient and takes moths to solve any issue

Hostel Facilities:

2 closet, 2 beds, 2 tables and chairs and High spped internet are provided in the room (which obviosly you have to share with a roomate ). Breakfasts are good, Lunch is average, Dinner is Usually Terrible ( Basically a down slope graph ), Registration Process is very easy it is usually done during admission councelling

Likes

Faculty: The first i like in uoh is efficiency of the faculty. I am not aware of the student ratio but it was quite good in my opinion. The course outline is aslo too good which helps to build your career in your respective fields.
Library: A lot of good books helps you to improve your academic skills and UOH gives you this through IGML.

Dislikes

Hostel: The quality of hostel rooms and the cleaning of hostels was a big drawback. It would be better if the toilets and the floors are cleaned regularly

Hostel Facilities:

The hostel facilities are not up to the mark of a central university with the institute of eminence. We have 14 boys hostels and 10 girls hostels overall. For every room, 2 students are alloted randomly. And we have a common bathroom not an attached one. While the mess is somewhat better, we have a lot of items on the menu ranging from day to chicken. We have specials twice a week. It's all your interest whether you want specials or not.

Dislikes

Food in lunch and Dinner, especially curries in those time full worse.

Hostel Facilities:

Every 2students alot in a single room. In that, it consists of 2 single beds and two study tables with chairs and there will be two almirahs separately for each candidate. Food for Lunch and Dinner is better to eat. Breakfast is marvelous and daily one variety they provide. The hostel will be allotted at the time of counselling itself. And the price is affordable, it's not high costs.

Every day is a new day in the Hyderabad University hostel, but don't expect super-luxurious accommodation facilities.

The rooms are shared among 2 students, which is fine because you get to meet a lot of new people.
Find a group and hang out with them. It is not always a happy place because you will be learning life lessons, but it is certainly exciting.
Apart from this, you will get the best internet services in your hostel rooms. It is available 24/7 and the speed is fantastic.
In terms of food at the hostel, most of it is South Indian and the menu is the same every day. You might get bored with it.
You will have a lot of fun, ups, and downs, and learn a lot. A day at HCU begins at 6:00 a.m. and ends at 3:00 a.m.

The hostel life at Hyderabad is quite similar to any government institute. You can enjoy more freedom and infrastructure when compared to private institutions.
