Course Curriculum Overview :

I'm interested in the field of economics and I want to be Economist. Students: faculty ratio is 600:50. Almost all faculty members have done their Ph.D. in the field of economics and some are from other social sciences courses. Every year December and May we have semester exams. If we try hard it's very easy to pass but we have to work for good score.

Internships Opportunities :

There is availability of Internship opportunities. Most of the internships are through Internshala only. Sometimes from state government we Have Economic surveys, Political surveys, Cultural Surveys etc.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

This is a public University which works under the guidelines of the UGC body of India. There are many ways to get scholarships and financial assistance. There is a DAG scholarship which is given by the University for 1200 students per year monthly 1000/- And there is a special scholarship from Central and State Governments.

Campus Life :

There is a program called SUKOON, which is celebrated every year on our campus. And there are many clubs like Nischaya the Civil Services Society, JSC for Integrated Masters students and NSS for National Service Scheme. Etc. In every class, there is the availability of modern digital equipped tools for teaching. There will be a Sports meet, a Literary meet, Cultural meet every year.

Hostel Facilities :

Every 2students alot in a single room. In that, it consists of 2 single beds and two study tables with chairs and there will be two almirahs separately for each candidate. Food for Lunch and Dinner is better to eat. Breakfast is marvelous and daily one variety they provide. The hostel will be allotted at the time of counselling itself. And the price is affordable, it's not high costs.

Admission :

Anyone who passed out +2 from any academic background can apply for this Integrated Master's program through CUET(U.G), which is an annual examination conducted by the NTA. NTA accepts applications for this U.G program generally every year in the months of March and April. The applicant has to get themselves registered for this exam and can apply to multiple central universities and also some private universities. This exam pattern depends on the individual choices he/she made while applying for the exam. One can choose his interested subject or aspiring subject from the given lists. One language paper has to be chosen, which most universities ask for. He has to choose the exam papers depending on his desired university. The reservation policy of the Central Government is strictly followed. In Economics,8 are General seats, rest are reserved.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As we have a native Teacher it helps us to learn the language as well as the culture too. And the conversation practice prepares us for real world . The curriculum also provides us with multiple workshop for us to participate to our own interests. On the improvement factor, it needs to be addressed that grades do not matter as because it will show how much you know regardless of your grades. The exams are conducted per sem, with 3 tests before mid term and 3 tests after mid term which also has creativity things like video or audio submission as well .

Course Curriculum Overview:

The Courses are very interesting and very helpful for our future endeavours. The Courses like gender studies, environmental science, fundamentals of music, dance studies, English literature and many other course give wider perspective of the electives and help to develop a multidisciplinary thinking capacity for students and develop a good idea of knowledge on all spheres. The social science students can also take elective from other science departments like maths, physics, geology, biology and etc... The NEP is implemented fully in the campus and it helps the students in overall development. The timing of classes for undergraduate students starts at 8am and ends at 6pm . But it differs to the course selection and a student maximum have 5 hours of class a day.

From sem 5 students become eligible for campus placements. I see my seniors doing internships at college as well as even they go to other companies. Approximately a student should get around 80 percent to get college placements.
