mostly in the ending 6th semster companies visit out campus offering campus placements to the eligible students. in our college top companies like Google, microsoft, facebook come to recruit students and they give huge packages. in recent year google gave a offer of 84lacs which is highest placement in that year. here 95% students who apply gets placed in the commpanies. i am also thinking of getting placement after getting the degree

placementt scenario is quite dull if i talk about my branch very less company come to company for core branch recruitment.with highest package 1200000 and lowest 600000.while non core it and cs placement are good.

As info got from seniors, In 7 th semester (4th year) students become eligible for campus placements.About 95% students get placed as some others plan for higher studies.NIT Rourkela consistently achieves impressive placement statistics, with high placement rates and attractive salary packages. From 7th semester students are eligible for placement and from 5th semester students can get pre placement offers . Total 330 company visited in 2023 and 1534 job offer. Highest package 83.60 (C.S) and Average package 15.74 . After getting degree , you may continue for further higher education or research.

NITR has a decent placement performances.Most of the students get placed in on-campus placements while thoe looking for bigger opportunities can go for off-campus placemnts. placement totally depends on an individual's skill and mindset. Highest package is about 83 lpa while average is 15 lpa in nit rkl above 90 % students get placed through placement drive. After Graduuation i am looking for opportunities in government sector.

Talking about this, various branches offer various packages to the students depending on the skills that the student possess. Some students may have a good cgpa that can boosts their resumies and may help to get better job opportunities wherein the packages are considered as good.

From 5th semester itself, a student is eligible for internships and pre-placement offers are given generally in 6th/7th semester. Many companies visited from tech- Google,Microsoft,Amazon,Oracle etc. from analytics and consulting:deloitte,phone pe,zs associates,O9 solutions,etc from core:bajaj,vedanta,caterpillar,BPCL,HPCL,GAIL etc. from banking: icici bank Highest package offered in campus was around 83 LPA avg package was around 14.5 LPA 90-95% of the eligible students get placements. My plan is to take an incamous placement.

The placement scenario of NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY ROURKELA is very good. In previous year more than 24 students got over 50LPA package and more than 210 students had got packages over 20LPA...

I AM ADMITTED INTO CIVIL ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT AND NOW WE HAVE A LOT OF PRACTICALS GOING ON. ALL THE PRACTICALS ARE VERY WELL EQUIPPED AND THE CLASSROOMS ARE WELL FURNISHED AS WELL. I WANTED TO GO INTO GOVERNMENT PSU'S THAT'S WHY I CHOSE CIVIL ENGINEERING.
