- Attandance - 85% attandance is very disgusting.. i never heard 85% in another collage except nit rourkela,

The placement scenario at NIT Rourkela is very good. It has an average placement package of 12 lakh 95 thousand. College also provides on campus internships. Highest package for my branch last year was around 44lakhs and average was 18lakhs.

Nitrkl provides 100 percent placement to there students and it is very good record in all other nits .... Average package is 11-12 lpa ... For chemical engineering...and highest can be 25-30lpa approx

1. Students become eligible fpr campus placements from 7th semester. 2. Companies like Tata, SAIL, ONGC,BPCL, IOCL, Mahindra, Maruti Suzuki, Mercedes, Audi, etc, visit the college regularly. 3. Highest package offered is 83 LPA, Average is 13-14 LPA. 4. More than 95% of the students get placed. 4. My plan is to get into the core PSUs after getting the degree.

NIT Rourkela placements 2023 was concluded for the batch passing out in 2023. As per the latest report, the participating recruiters presented 1,325 job offers to the Class of 2023. The highest and average package offered during NIT Rourkela placements in 2023 was INR 83.60 LPA and 14 LPA, respectively. The top recruiters of NIT Rourkela in 2023 included Apple, Google, Microsoft, Amazon.

Course Curriculum Overview:
I HAVE A INTEREST FORM MY CHILDHOOD TO DO BIOMEDICAL ENGINEERING TOO FRIENDLY FACULTY AND ALSO THE STUDENTS ARE CHILLED. MOST OF THE FACULTIES ARE GRADUATED FROM IIT AND FOREIGN INSTITUTES. IN EVERY 2 MONTH THERE IS AN EXAM.

- It is too good for a jee aspirant to take admission in nit rkl.
- The campus and it's beautiful scenery and the sport complexes.
Dislikes
- Nothing is there to dislike in the college.
- Sometimes the exam pressure makes me to dislike the syllabus.
Placement Experience:
Campus placement is allowed for all students of nit Rourkela. In the placement season 100 percent placement happened in the academic year 2022-23. The highest package was offered to a computer science student of CTC 84lac. And lowest package was 6lac.

- The syllabus is quite huge to cover here.
- The exams don't have any gaps in between.
Placement Experience:
Placements are 100% in our institute. Students become eligible for placements since 2nd year. Many companies like Microsoft,amazon, Flipkart,tcs,micron and 1000+ offers are made. This year 82 lakhs was the highest offer made. Average is 15-20 lakhs. My plans are to go to software line after learning coding thoroughly.

Course Curriculum Overview:
i like this course. and my faculty also teach very good. if have anu problem they will explain many times. my faculty aws will qualified. they completed there phd. exams are vey tough. they have to pass very difficult.

- Greenery and garden of our hostel which consists of many types of flowers.
- Good friends, not only our department but also others.
Dislikes
- The food here is very bad. It has no salt and spice in it.
- Some people here have regional feelings so which they give less chance for other regional people in participating in events
Course Curriculum Overview:
I chose this course because I was interested in Chemistry. All faculties are very co-operative and make sure that the concept is understandable to students. Curriculum load is not very bad but we can manage. Each semester is of 4 months. One mid sem exam for 2 months and one end sem exam in last month is conducted for every semester. Class consists of around 54 members.

- The large campus and the 1200 acres of the campus .
- The fests that are held in the campus every year.
Dislikes
- The climatic conditions are somewhat harsh.
- The placement facility can be make better.
Placement Experience:
The placements which are provided in my college were decent. Their are alot of well known companies came to placements. In the sixth semester itself the students are eligible to sit the placements. The 90% of the students are going to placed in before graduating.

What is your review of National Institute of Technology, Rourkela (NIT-RKL)?
A friend at NIT Rourkela gave me a detailed review of her college the last time she visited me. Here are some highlights from her descriptive experience
- NIT Rourkela has a huge, serene, and well-secured campus.
- The institute has diverse clubs that promote extracurricular activities and their performance is better than most clubs of other engineering colleges.
- Decent Internet speed is offered and the Dc++ is well maintained.
- The hostels are well-maintained and decked with all the basic amenities one could ask for.
- Students are actively involved in sports such as gymming and swimming.
- The faculties are a mixed bag. Some are underqualified and lethargic while some motivate you to become a better person.
- The institute boasts of an extensive entrepreneurship culture.
- The institute needs to work on increasing its alumni base and the level of fests it organizes given the huge income the institute generates.
- The placement scenario varies from branch to branch. It's decent for branches like CS while pathetic for others.
- Rourkela does not have any places to explore and also lacks flight connectivity.
- The city of Rourkela is one of the cleanest places so hygiene is not an issue here.
