In first year, the syllabus is nearly equal of all branches and have to be followed. But in first two semester the course is not so beneficial and is mixup of all branches. But in subsequent years, the syllabus get bounded in particular branch.
I am currently enrolled in computer science and data science course. Since this is the new course, the course curriculum is not that well defined but neither that bad. It's on the average side. Most of the faculty members are good but some do not care much about it. The faculty is well qualified and most of the staff is new to our stream so they teach according to the latest trend but some never took teaching seriously it's just their job they need to finish. There are mid sem and end-semester examinations. Mid-semester is usually easy to compare to the end-sem examination rest depends on us how well we are prepared. I choose the data science course since data is the most valuable asset at the current time.
Nsut is among the top colleges in India with great learning opportunities. Technical branches in nsut are better than others. Faculty are highly qualified and educated. The course curriculum is updated and meets the requirements of the changing technology. Faculty to student ratio is around 1:60.
I choose this because it's interesting and data science is on the rise. Faculty-student ratio in my college is around 30:1. Exams are conducted very frequently in my college like some class tests every month, then mid sem and end sem, etc.
I chose data science because it is a demanding field and it has a very high scope in the future it includes subjects like NLP, big data ml, and deep learning. faculty are well qualified but you have to study on your own.
The course curriculum is quite old, to be honest I prefer new technologies to be integrated into the curriculum as computer science is a fast-paced evolving field, faculty also quite sub-par need for more practical
