Remarks :
If you are looking for higher education and good placement in engineering college then you can prefer the nit trichy. Many good companies are coming here for placement and they give the good money. Goverment companies are also coming for recruitment process and didn't require gate marks they will take based on college performance.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course plan is very good that's why our college is first position over other nit. It changes time to time considering the alumina and companies suggestions. There is a flexible carriculam for us. There is two test of 20 marks and 1 assignment or seminar or presentation or quiz (based on teacher as well as students ) 10 marks during the semester and one final semester examination if 50 marks just after the last classes. Test and assignment dates are decided by teacher and students but duration of end sem exam is fixed so that student and teacher fix the date and conduct the exam. Our college is autonomous so that teacher decision is final decision.
Placement Experience :
As I already mentioned my college is first position over other nit. So that placement of our college is nearly 100 percent. Who ever want the job and serious about that they will get the job defenatly. There is very good chances for higher education. Many students are going for higher education in foreign. No, our college didn't provide the internship but if any student intrested then they can mail their resume to the professor and if professor intrested then they can allow to work with them. Professor can give the stipend but our college location is not good so that less people are coming for internship. But many of us are working with prof during the semester as well as holidays. Other college students can come and participate.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
The college fee structure is different for different year. It is fixed of 39000 (general and obc) and 4000(sc and st) for per semester for my year but there is income based fee for juniors batch. Mess and hostel fee is same for every year student 30000 for per semester.
Campus Life :
There is various club in the college like hindi club (Aayaam), tamil club (tamil mandrum), telugu club, technical club, robotics club, racing club. If you are interested go to that club and explore yourself.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel rooms are very good and enough space are available there. Washroom cleaning is regularly happen and there is auro plant in my hostel so that water is also good. Auro plant will be in every hostel within some month and between the hostel badminton court is there. We can play at any time. Light is available for 24 hours. Wifi is also available 5 am to 1pm during weekdays and weekend 24 hours. Wifi speed is so good.
Alumni/Alumna :
Alumna meeting is happening month to month and places to places. They are very helpful and they helped to the college and they gave the money to the college so that college gives the scholarship and alumina helps to start the startup and provide the internship also.
Admission :
There is an engineering entrance examination named as Jee Main. Who are studying in class 12th and 2 year droper can fill the form. It means that students have 3 chances to fill the Jee main form. This time Jee main exam is being twice in a year (in the month of january and april first week). In which exam student will get the high mark that will be consider for that particular year. Our college is first position over other nit. So that student who has good mark can get this college. Jee main paper has three section physics, chemistry, maths. Each section has 30 questions. Each question carry 4 marks and wrong question carry -1 mark. So that maximum marks fir the paper is 360 and student who get nearly 200 plus score can get the easily addmission in this college. After getting the good score jee give the next step information through mail. Next step will happen in nearer nit and you can go the nit what ever you got after some days. Date will be given by Jee website.
Faculty :
Faculty of our college is very good and they are very helpful. We can do project during the semester and know about what is going on world. Quantity of faculties are less but every year , our college take the exam, interview and recruit the temporary faculty for one semester and if they perform good then they get the extension of one sem. Next year if faculty want to continue then again the same procedure for that. Our college requested to the retired faculty to come and teach as visiting faculty. BHEL is nearer to our college so that many professor are coming from that and teach us. So that we have more industrial knowledge.
