Foreign nationals, PIO card holders, OCI (Dual citizens), NRI students, and NRI sponsored students can apply under the category of International students. 15% of the seats are reserved under this category. The exam is called SRMJEE which is a online based examination which has constant AI monitoring I wrote the 3rd phase a secured a rank below 1000 which gave me a 25% scholarship from the course fee. The exam is kinda easy for someone who has average scores in physics, mathematics and chemistry

- The college has nearly 2 small canteens and 2 big restaurant

- The mess good is not completely good.You can eat in the college restaurant.
- The portions are rushed to complete before the month of semester

I have written the SRMjee entrance exam,it is easy when compared to other colleges.I got 721th rank in the entrance exam.I were eligible to join in all SRM campus,but I got scholarship in Trichy campus so I selected and the e-counselling took place in the online itself.If you got 50% on class 12 boards then you are eligible to join college.The registration fee for exam is 1200rs.And after selecting the alloted seat the registration fee for college is 10000 which is included in fee.

SRMIST has not released the BBA fee structure in online mode for NRI student. However, for general student, the per year fee is INR 50 thousand.
Candidate should have passed 10 +2 from the recognized board of Education.
SRM Institute of Science and Technology does not offer the Diploma in IT or AI.
SRM Institute of Science and Technology Tiruchirapalli does not offer Bachelor of Pharmacy to the students.
