Course Curriculum Overview

Good course because it develops community skills and we get practical knowledge apart from theory and we can manage various thing during the field work which develops ourselves and develops our leadership quality

Internships Opportunities

There are internships but not so good company available in barak valley as well as in Assam. So some people do intership in Guwahati and some go outside like Kolkata and other states like haryana Punjab etc

Fees and Financial Aid

13920 rupees paid this year including all the fees. Only Nsp ishan uday are getting by some students. There are not much good placement in this department. They don't provide any fieldwork expenses to students

Campus Life

Auskriti held every year in the month o September or October and fest for science block is scientia and for arts fest its aikya its happens for the first time and other auslympic games heppen every year

Admission

Because nearer to my home and i can afford the expenses because i m bpl card holder and I don't have any income source so,it is helpful to stay nearer with im in the district and i can come home in need

Faculty

Good relationship with the teachers as well as scholars of the department they are always friendly to the teachers. Our ex hod tineshwari maam.i like every teacher.2 internal for each subject and final exam with assignment and presentation

Night Life

Gym centre is there but no traineer available in the gym centre also we have amul point as well as we have our new cafeteria and scube point where we get fast food like momo and panipuri and we have canteen in various departments

The college provides placement in different NGOs and companies like flipkart, amazon, hotels, NGOs, banks, hospital etc. The placements are given after the 5th semester. They provide us a wide opportunity to show our skills.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As my brother has also done msw before and now he is working in a ngo he influenced me to pursue this course as I was arts student ,as a social work student we are well prepared for real world experience cause we have field work to do every week I think the areas for improvement in the courses are decreasing theory and increasing practice and field work,we have 3 exam throughout the semester and exam are very difficult

Moderate student life in the AUS

Course Curriculum Overview:

I wanted to become a professional social worker and also to become a graduate. Very nice faculty members 15 faculty were there that time in 2020. 20:2 was the student and teacher ratio approximately. It is semester-type exam every 6 months. And the difficulty of the exam is moderate.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Firstly to the one who's reading it, let me tell you one thing. If you're very much motivated enough about any subject you want to choose then definitely go for it. In my honest review, Social Work never came to my mind at first thought. It took me a lot of research and time. Let me give you a brief of what exactly is Social Work. Most of you would say that it's about helping people, and a lot of other stuff. But readers, I must tell you one thing, Social Work isn't just limited to the idea of helping people, it is also about making people capable enough to help themselves. And for that work, you need a whole different level of motivation. The best part about this course (BSW), it gives you both practical and theoretical-based forms of learning, so obviously, you can imagine that you don't have to sit and attend classes till 5 in the evening. Fieldwork is the core subject here, and with that, you would get other important papers like Public Health, Criminology, and Community Organisation.

I want to apply to RTU ( RABINDRANATH TAGORE UNIVERSITY). But due to insufficient funds couldn't take addmission. My seniors are there and told me it is good university and genuine when i heard about thier marks it is very appreciable. I didn't even apply for colleges because i know my father didn't get the contract bill which i could have been to a better college but now regrets in my head every time i think about my backs Yes for honors students have to take a pre test of the subject to take honour of that subject but at that time my faculty didn't take exam but all others faculties have taken exams and given them accordingly to thier marks....Read More
