Course Curriculum Overview

3

I wanted to become a professional social worker and also to become a graduate. Very nice faculty members 15 faculty were there that time in 2020. 20:2 was the student and teacher ratio approximately. It is semester-type exam every 6 months. And the difficulty of the exam is moderate.

Internships Opportunities

2

Many internship opportunities were there. But the department does not seek or provide opportunities to take an internship. The students themselves find the institute to go for an internship with their group.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is not very high. When I was a student at that University for the first time it was taken 12000 Rs. to get admission. And then is exam free also below 1500rs per semester. I have not applied for any scholarship but it was available. There is no campus placement but you can avail from where you are placed as a trainee.

Campus Life

3

There are many fests in the University also per department. There are lots of journals and books available in the Central library at the university. But there is also the facility of the departmental library in every department. All sports are played.

Admission

When I took admission, there was no entrance exam but now its required CUET UG exam preference first. Eligibility- 12th passed any stream. It was then near about 12 thousand admission fees. Reservation - Local reservation plus it was then obc NCL that I got.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Firstly to the one who's reading it, let me tell you one thing. If you're very much motivated enough about any subject you want to choose then definitely go for it. In my honest review, Social Work never came to my mind at first thought. It took me a lot of research and time. Let me give you a brief of what exactly is Social Work. Most of you would say that it's about helping people, and a lot of other stuff. But readers, I must tell you one thing, Social Work isn't just limited to the idea of helping people, it is also about making people capable enough to help themselves. And for that work, you need a whole different level of motivation. The best part about this course (BSW), it gives you both practical and theoretical-based forms of learning, so obviously, you can imagine that you don't have to sit and attend classes till 5 in the evening. Fieldwork is the core subject here, and with that, you would get other important papers like Public Health, Criminology, and Community Organisation.
