Infrastructure is amazing and building are made properly by designing.
IIT has incubation centre and innovation lab that encourage students and researchers to develop their ideas into viable business solution.

Transporation facility is less but all things are good.
I really can't find anything in this institute that I not liked.

Course Curriculum Overview :

IIT Ropar curriculum is totally different and it is designed according to rules and regulation.It is mentioned their their rulebook.Credit system is mentioned and acoording to credit sysytem student got marks.Teaching method are fabulos and great .Classes are designed to requirement of subject.

Class Size : 25Course Fees : INR 62700 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Internship opportunities are too many provided.IIT students goes every year on industrial visit and internship opprtunities are also provided also in foreign.Students get internship according to their subject they study.

Placement Experience :

Everyone knows that IIT Of INDIA are highly demanded institute and everyone cant take admsiion.Firstly you have to clear JEE OR JAMS like exams which are really tough. And talk about placement-Placement are 100%. Everyone got placed in big MNC companies and also foreign companies for placement. Highly package are around 50-60 lakhs.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

IIT ROPAR fee structure is high. I got admission in MSc Chemistry and fee is around 75000 per annum and hostel accomadation fee is around 35- 40k. Scholarship will be provided on the basis of Merit and scholarship named as Merit-cum- Means {MCM} .

Campus Life :

Overall experience is great.Too much function are organized by Organisation and too muech technical events takes place. Also many social clubs are organised which play vital role in developing career option.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel facility are also good. Proper hygienic food are provided. Cleaning are also maintained. Veg and non veg both types of diet are available. No extra charges and in a week 2 times special diet are made for students. Proper room cleaning and wahsroom cleaning anre managed.

Hostel Fee : INR 35000 per year

Admission :

I not applied in any instution because when I know that IIT ropar is very great and too much good institute. Its location is also very great.It is located near satluj river and view around this institute is also great .It is situated near hills and mountain view .

Faculty :

Academically, IIT Ropar maintains a strong focus on research,especially in the fields of physics and artificial intekkigence. Faculty members are highly experienced and they also graduated from high ranked IIT or also studied from foreign country.

Something is better than nothing

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really like Mathematics and course is also well structured so I chose this course And yeah they also try to relate the thing with real life problem. they inhance the capability of problems solving skills and analytical thinking . Overall the way they teach is good but they can improve it more .also the timing between 1st and second minor is too less we don't get much time to get prepared well due to the heavy syllabus .so they should improve in the syllabus it's too heavy

I think this course might help me to enter in IT industry and let me sharpen my hemisphere of skills that are required to run an company and team...though i don't think college provide any specific training and placement programs for students.Even teachers just cover syllabus they don't provide any extra material and skills

Admission:

The admission process of the college is held on the basis of the marks that a student gets in their graduation. As I took admission to the M.sc course so all the detailed marksheet were being required by the college.

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of the college is not very good. Though small companies come together every year to hire the students but the salary packages aren't too good.But the college is very prestigious and a student can use the talent and knowledge that this college give in the outer world and job field.

Best University for Talented Students

Remarks:

The good remark is it is a educational university and provide a platform for students to explore and increase their knowledge.and the bad part is the more plantation is needed although it has more than 6000 plantation already. the another bad part is that the construction work is still going on it should be rapidly completed.
