Course Curriculum Overview :
The courses are quite relevant as you enter your 2nd year of college. In your first year, you must learn common subjects necessary for an engineer. Afterward, you are introduced to the core subjects of your branch.
Internships Opportunities :
Generally, the internships are offered to students who have freshly entered 3rd year of their B.Tech journey, i.e., 5th semester. The companies visit the campus for interviews and select the students on their own. This year a large number of students got internship offers in various companies.
Placement Experience :
The placement scenario is quite good and increasing day by day. Recently, companies like Oracle, Google, Pattern, BPCl, TATA Steel, Adobe, etc., have taken our students as interns and the past interns also received PPOs from the above companies.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The yearly fee structure is around Rs.1,14,000 which is the academic fees only. The tuition fee is fixed, that is, Rs.1,00,000, the other Rs.14,000 is other fees like medical, Student Activity Fund(SAF), etc. As I am a SC student I don't have to pay the tuition fee I just pay the other expenses.

There is a good amount of clubs in our college for various kinds of social activities. All the clubs are under certain boards which manage the club. There are cultural clubs, sports, tech, literature, gaming, etc.
Hostel Facilities :
As per the rent charged by the hostel, the services provided are very good and up to the mark. Every year lakhs of rupees are spent on the renovation of the hostel. There are employees who clean the hostel rooms every day.
Admission :
I got this college through JoSAA Counselling and there is a rule that if you get any seat in IIT in the last round of JoSAA Counselling you either accept it or you will never get any seat in IIT in the future. So, I took a seat in IIT Ropar.
Faculty :
The faculty of our college are well qualified. The faculty-student ratio is around 1:50. The exam pattern and marking scheme are solely decided by the course instructor and the other professors. Usually, we have two exams(Mid-semester and End-semester).
