IIT Ropar Experience

Remarks :

The college had played a role in my incredible journey. At the College, I enjoyed every stage. After the cut-off, I was admitted on the basis of merit. I was accepted to college in the second round of selection. Being from the general category, I had to maintain a slightly higher score in both the GATE Exam and my bachelor's degree to be eligible for admission, which I did. I had no such problems when submitting my application; instead, I went through an interview process in which I was asked a few questions about the course and a few about general topics. I applied through the official site and paid the registration fee of INR 250.

Campus Life :

The college is situated on about ten acres of land. Despite its small size, the infrastructure is well kept, and the campus is kept clean and tidy. The process to get the admission is very straight forward. For P.G. degrees you should have 50% aggregate in your bachelors and your merit in your GATE. After you have qualified the selection round you will have to appear in a common entrance test (CET). Their are a lot of great opportunities served to the students by the college. They can go to on-campus interviews. The college also do a special selection for the bigger companies.
