Likes
- The campus is new and in hostel one room for one person and the room is really good , we have everything which you need in a room enough lights fan a good cupboard
- 70 percent of the campus (other than boys hostel) looks nice ..they have greenery , a smol park like area in front of girls hostel and and good classrooms , professors are okaish
Dislikes
- Many times hostel water tank gets empty ..so no water not even for drinking for hours and electricity went sometimes not much and one big problem is the internet inside the hostel , outside our hostel network comes but inside no signal
- They have a wifi which don't work well and not much range of it ,it's a big problem we face everyday . The food is not good , below then avarage it got degraded since we came to new campus . It's been a year in this new campus
Course Curriculum Overview :
Right now they are still teaching us drawing in 3rd sem of mech . But they said they will start auto cad soon . Courses are okay tho In the lab ..they installed some new machines this year and they said there will be more soon
Internships Opportunities :
I don't know much about this area but some people get good internship from computer science department. One person got internship in new zealand now he is waiting for his PPO idk much about it though.
Placement Experience :
Campus placement is okay okay but not that great . Mech and civil don't have that much package avg of around 6 lakh and i guess only 10-11 got placed .. and 16-17 was eligibile for it. For eligible to placement you don't have any backlog in any subject and some minimum cgpa required too
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The total fees for one year is (except the first year ) is - 130,200 Caution money is 4000 Other fees - 3000 per year For sc st it's just 5k per month ( they don't have to pay the tuition fee which is 62500 , college have fees structure like other nits like complete fees remission on for people who's income is below 1 lakh And 2/3 fee remission for income 1 to 5 lakh and rest have to pay the full fee.
Campus Life :
There are not much active clubs which do something but some are .. we had a fest Savyas last year which was really good we enjoyed and on many fastival they do something...sadly this year the college didn't gave money for the fest Umang ( navaratri fest) where we all do garba dance like these things together. We have a Library with enough books which we need for academics and you can have 3 books at once .
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel room is good it's big enough for one person, i have one bed one chair one table . One almari which is enough for our stuff .a window with a good view outside .. enough lights in room . But the bed is smol for person around 6 feet . The food they provide is not that great . Avarage we have canteen tho where same not much gold food but atleast better. Wifi don't have much range and mostly resticted..so no gaming . No network inside the college of jio airtal or any other sim card because of its structure. But outside the hostel the network works pretty decent. But the rooms really good for 36000
Admission :
I was getting MBM jodhpur I got something with related to computer science which was really good branch there and it's a really good state college of rajsthan but I choose nitg because I like mechanical more and I was getting this in a NIT. So I went for it and it's okaish here .. placement is not that great but have to work so hard to get one . I gave JEE mains to get in here and i had rank of 49 k ,I was getting SVNIT civil too but I liked this more (the SVNIT is a better college if I was getting mech there)
Faculty :
The faculty is okaish if mechanical but some other branches like ece don't have that good faculty ( not like they don't know anything but in terms of treating the students well) We have 4 exams , two minors one mid sem and one end sem ... Of total 25 , 50 (mid sem) then again 25 (minor ) and end sem of 100 marks . For passing you need atleast 80 , difficulty is okay not much not less
