Remarks :

The college management is good and fair to all the facilities are good and students concerns are look after.

Entrance Preview :

I have GCET conducted by Gov of Goa every year. I had a rank around 300 and the ECE course of this college was best among all the colleges providing fully equipped Labs and Very experienced Faculty and HOD.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course is very well structured as per the industry requirements also the Electives in final year give you a great opportunity to choose your specialisation. They offer Java, Embedded, Bio- Medical, E-commerce etc as Electives. The First year is common teaching all domains and from second year your specialisation starts. You can change your Stream in second if you wish and if there is a vacancy.

Internships Opportunities :

Yes, the stipend depends on the company you work for during internship to mention some siemens, PSL, Zuari, Godrej,Bosh etc are the companies.

Placement Experience :

Over the years the college had great Placements. TCS comes every year for placement. And there are opportunities to get placed in Panasonic, Dubai every year. Other than that Infosys, HSBC, IBM, Techmahindra, Opendestination, PSL, Bosch, Siemens and many more come during Placements. I am myself placed in Infosys currently.

College Events :

Techyon( annual Tech Fest) all kind of technical competition like Robo wars, quizzes, coding battles , Design battles, Project contest etc. Mithya( Fun week) Cultural event providing students to showcase their hobbies...Dance, Drama, fashion, Singing etc. Big Leap( entrepreneurship contest) college contest for best entrepreneurship ideas among students, VLSI emposium( paper presentation etc) ECE dept. Organised paper presentation and Project proposals, farewell dept wise farewell Ceremony for passing out students, graduation Ceremony for meritorious students acknowledging their conrtibution, alumni Meet every year in December all yearly basis.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Fee are little on higher side every semester they increase anf based if you want to reappear a semester you have to repay that sems fees. They are between 45-50k every semester this includes Tuition fees, Library fees and facilities fees for exam fees you have to accordingly every semester based on university guidelines.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The college offers scholarship to girl child which waives a big chunk of the semester fees there is one facility at university level which gives you interest free loans of upto 70k per semester.

Campus Life :

The college has diverse group of people from all religions and state predominantly Goans. The people are very friendly and helpful and there has never been any kind of riots and discrimination among students. Ragging is big no an college has strict laws are adhered .although all the seniors and juniors work and play together in harmony.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostels are only available for girls and Canteen is decent enough there are many options just outside the college so no worries as far as food matters. For guys easily one can find accommodation nearby as many residence provide rented places.

External Expense : Rs.4000 - Rs.7000

Alumni/Alumna :

I have been in touch with the alumni many having very esteemed Jobs or studying abroad the college holds a event every December for the Alumnus that keeps all the Alumni connected also there is a Facebook page.

Exam Structure :

8 Semester all together in 4 years. 1 Major project the standard Practical and Theory exams every semester. The college has great schedule which lets you manage Labs, lectures very efficiently and it isn't very hectic. There is Weeknd off and only 5 day college from 9-5.

Admission :

Appear 12th Science Boards exams appear GCET- multiple choice common entrance test without negative marking counseling for colleges based on rank based on score the college availability is discuss at the university choose college during counseling and get admitted.

Faculty :

All the faculty are well versed with their field of knowledge and help in every possible way to understand and learn things. Constant watch is kept on all students and the faculty have a personal connect with all students. All faculty have master and above degrees and good experience in teaching.

Review of a average civil engineering student

Placement Experience:

After 7th semester you are eligible for placements by the end of 8th semester companies will be approaching college and jobs will be offered Different companies approach and they take interviews according to how many students enrolled for their company For me different companies like ultra tech and deep builders and assmass construction approached and offered of average of 20 to 25,000 salary as a beginner Highest average package would be around 35,000 and lowest is around 15,000 Around 70 to 85% students gets placement. Rest of the students mostly go for their own business or different private companies My plan after the degree is to continue with my dad's business which is road work/ pwd contractor

Visiting the interiors!

Placement Experience:

Final students are eligible for placements. Companies such as turtle mint, findem, Nokia, IFB, Samsung, Adani power, HDFC Bank, Tesco, Upskill, ONGC, Jio, and many more. Last year almost everyone got placed. Average package is 10 LPA. This year though placements were not as expected because of economic depression. Even after the placements, lay offs have become common. Hence to cope up with the competition we need to keep upskilling.

Placement Experience:

The placements have been quite decent and have had 100% placements in the past. The average comes to be a bit average but the highest package so far might be above 44LPA. The main branchea company hire students from are CSE ECE and EEE. The number of students getting placed from CSE and ECE are very good and have good salary packages around 10LPA

Placement Experience:

IIT Goa offers campus placements to its students. Students become eligible for campus placements in their final year of study, i.e., in the 7th or 8th semester. Several reputed companies visit IIT Goa for campus placements, including Amazon, Microsoft, Goldman Sachs, IBM, Tata Steel, Larsen & Toubro, Adani Power, etc. Higher placements offer is of 1.2cr and average placement offers are16-25 lac per annum. The percentage of students getting placed during campus placements at IIT Goa is quite high, with around 90% of students getting placed every year. The remaining students generally opt for higher studies or pursue entrepreneurship. Remarks:

My college has the best infrastructure to provide for its students with workshops, number of laboratories each meant for seperate branches to conduct experiments, community centres, auditoriums, well equiped library and at last the atmosphere that makes me feel that this is the best institution I have ever went to.
