Remarks :

The college as a whole has good faculty, infrastructure and good placements. It can be one of the best colleges one could get (if not an IIT). The only negative (not exactly) remark would be the fee structure of the college

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum is continuous and is graded on CGPA. Individual exams of each subject total up for the final score at the end of each semester. The assessments 8nclude mid-semester exams, comprehensive exams and quizes

Placement Experience :

Job placement has a very good stats in BITS Pilani in all the 4 campuses. The average package is high enough with IITs. The college provides 2 practice school sessions which are like internships but a bit different.

College Events :

Our campus organises the India's biggest cultural fest called "waves" We also have a techfest called "quark" and a sports fest called "spree". Apart from that we also have small competitions time to time.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The only minus point of our campus is that the fees are a little too high with comparison to IITs. The overall fee structure is anyways worth the infrastructure here but in a nutshell it is a bit expensive

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The college has an SBI branch in the campus itself. At the start of the year we got an offer from SBI to avail loan for the college fees at an interest rate of 5% p.a. Also a scholarship is provided to top 9 in end sem scores

Campus Life :

The infrastructure here for extra activities is good and is still developing. We also have different competitions in extra curricular fields and sports. Also we have a number of labs in the campus for us.

Alumni/Alumna :

The college has a cell called alumni relations cell Alumni students do come back timr it time and also guide us. Some of the successful pass outs from the campus came to the campus recently to share their stories.

Admission :

1. Give an exam called BITSAT that comes usually around month of May. 2. Fill up admission form and give your priority of branch you want. The priority can be from different campuses under "BITS Pilani". 3.On the basis of the marks we get the branch.

Faculty :

The faculty is highly educated and teach well. They have vast pool of knowledge and are clear about their subject. They are also always ready to help the students during the chamber consultation hours.

Placement Experience:

The placement at my college are decent. Students from Computer and IT department easily get placed at a company. The companies that frequently visit Goa engineering college are persistent, one shield, Infosys, tcs , Wipro etc . Each year there are around 300 offers received in the entire college. The highest package a student has got is 15lakhs per annum from TurtleShell. The average package is 6 LPA. Around 50% od the students get placed. I wish to work at a product based tech company after my graduation.

Placement Experience:

Final students are eligible for placements. Companies such as turtle mint, findem, Nokia, IFB, Samsung, Adani power, HDFC Bank, Tesco, Upskill, ONGC, Jio, and many more. Last year almost everyone got placed. Average package is 10 LPA. This year though placements were not as expected because of economic depression. Even after the placements, lay offs have become common. Hence to cope up with the competition we need to keep upskilling.
