Course Curriculum Overview :

BVSc is topmost course of Gbpuat. Top rankers are allotted this professional degree course. This is a noble profession be a veterinarian hence encourages students to opt for this course. This is the only university in uttrakhand state to provide BVSc course. CVASc provide very nice environment to be a professional one not only in studying aspect but also help students to learn total professional behaviour as well. Respect , discipline etc are mandatory for a BVSc student in campus or outside. More practical interactions should be encouraged as veterinary is about practical approach, field work so students should be encouraged to do so. Three internal exam are there and one external exam in Last of semester.. semester being annual.. Two internal Marks are calculated that is best two.

Class Size : 103Course Fees : INR 117735 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Fees for the first year of 2023-24 were 117735 Which varies year-wise. Senior-year fees are less than first year Scholarships are based on categories students belong to..like SC,ST, EWS, etc Parents having jobs in the army etc. Scholarship based on performance of student's Academic performance

Campus Life :

CVASc keeps u busy with its programs and functions the entire year. Rest university colleges function Plus several societies of University to conduct program and functions etc. All kinda of books according to courses are present in the library. We have access to all books. Technical advancement is in progress. Needs much improvement. Stevenson's stadium is a huge area for sports-loving students and provides a nice environment for playing. Include basketball, volleyball, cricket, badminton, table tennis etc

Admission :

12th pass eligibility with PCM/B Gbpuat has its site for several updates. It conducts its entrance exam every year after the 12th board exams. Reservations are for SC, ST, EWS, and OBC categories. No reservations for General UR. 3 hrs exam duration 600 max marks. The exam is moderate, if prepared for next no extra preparation is required.

Faculty :

Faculty in CVASc is nice .Good teaching approach by respective professors. Theory classes are interactive and lab classes are more interesting than theory one's. Lab are mostly taken by... PhD students, our seniors they are amazing at teaching. Students feel much free to speak to them.and they too guide students willingly. Textbooks are referred to students by professors for better' and deep studying.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I suppose seminster of 6 month, but in Pantnagar or many universities.The semester is only 4 months. In That time two hourly exam and final exam take place.and whole syllabus is taught by Professor during initial few months and hourly exam.

Life around gbpuat as bvsc student

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum is surely vast but not much if we study and this could resolve by group study since we are going to be veterinarian we have to study different animals at a time and most of them have different anatomy and physiology so definitely it's a challenging course.

A self sustainable university

Course Curriculum Overview:

Being an animal lover i have always been fond of helping them out in some or other way leading me to veterinary as a career path Along side of theortical and practical knowledge of my course mu campus provide me with different types of societies and seminars internship and many more self development classes Areas that according to me should be improved are the facilities in classroom like a mic to professors proper cooling system The time and frequency of conducting exam according to me is reasonable in my campus and easy to manage.

The placements occours every year ..the placement occours and we get a temporary government job at first but after experience u'll get a permanent job for sure which gors from 40000 initial to 80000 after experience

Placement Experience:

The collage itself does not offer placement but it heavily assists in the placement of students. The minimum package a person can grab after BVSc is about 60,000 per month. You could also appear for PG exam or get appointed at private clinics .

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this because I always had a dream to serve the country by becoming a doctor. The faculty-student ratio is about 40:60. All the staff is well educated and groomed with a sufficient amount of knowledge from well-known universities all over India and the teaching methodology is up to the mark as it covers all the practical and theoretical aspects. Exams are conducted after every 2 months and are up to the level to pass.

Opt to become a veterinarian.

Placement Experience:

From the final year i.e. after 4.5 years students are eligible for an internship. The 6-month internship is to be done within the campus and the rest of the 6 months in another organization. Many dairy, poultry, food processing, and wool processing companies visit the college for hiring students. Also, many research fields are available after the course with great scope. Around 5 to 7 lakh per annum packages are easily available after the course which is generally offered by firms visiting the college. Best students based on their academic performances are preferred. Near about 60 to 70 % are generally getting placement. Others generally opt for further studies. AMUL, Ananda dairies, poultry firms, many renowned slaughterhouses, and research organizations are some places where veterinarians get appointed other than clinical practices.
