Course Curriculum Overview :

The coirse corriculum is decided every year by Veterinary Council of India . The syllabus is vast, but encourages the students to be informed about the various aspects of different subjects. The exams are conducted on a yearly basis, I. E. no semester system present.

Class Size : 103Course Fees : INR 600000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

The students carry their internship program under collage guide ncell for the First 10 months and 2 months from their home town as home internship. It is a paid internship so students gets ?8000 per month.

Placement Experience :

The collage itself does not offer placement but it heavily assists in the placement of students. The minimum package a person can grab after BVSc is about 60,000 per month. You could also appear for PG exam or get appointed at private clinics .

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The course is highly Affordable of you secure good rank in its Entrance exam. I. E. ?1, 17,735 every year including Hostel fees for the 1st year and reduced to around ?85,000 after that. The University also offers scholarship for category students and VCI students.

Campus Life :

The collage offers various clubs and societies that either run by collage or self funded student society. The really help and focus on the personality Development of students. Some of the activities organised are vet fair, vet night, colosseum...

Hostel Facilities :

The collage is located very close to the hostel which makes Transportation very easy. The hostels are a bit old and less maintained. But they are highly affortable that is ?40000 every year including mess bill.

Admission :

The admission took place on a overall online Ranking basis. The Veterinary course brags most of the top rankers from the Entrance test. Maximum rank for General gategory may go upto 100.But, reservation plays a key role as only 22 seats are available as open General. There is also reservation for girls.

Faculty :

The collage appoints highly skilled personnels as professors or assistant professors for the quality education of students.Every course Instructor would be holding at least 1 PhD and have Accomplished a Great feat in their subject.

Gbpuat life

Course Curriculum Overview:

BVSc is topmost course of Gbpuat. Top rankers are allotted this professional degree course. This is a noble profession be a veterinarian hence encourages students to opt for this course. This is the only university in uttrakhand state to provide BVSc course. CVASc provide very nice environment to be a professional one not only in studying aspect but also help students to learn total professional behaviour as well. Respect , discipline etc are mandatory for a BVSc student in campus or outside. More practical interactions should be encouraged as veterinary is about practical approach, field work so students should be encouraged to do so. Three internal exam are there and one external exam in Last of semester.. semester being annual.. Two internal Marks are calculated that is best two.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I suppose seminster of 6 month, but in Pantnagar or many universities.The semester is only 4 months. In That time two hourly exam and final exam take place.and whole syllabus is taught by Professor during initial few months and hourly exam.

Life around gbpuat as bvsc student

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum is surely vast but not much if we study and this could resolve by group study since we are going to be veterinarian we have to study different animals at a time and most of them have different anatomy and physiology so definitely it's a challenging course.

A self sustainable university

Course Curriculum Overview:

Being an animal lover i have always been fond of helping them out in some or other way leading me to veterinary as a career path Along side of theortical and practical knowledge of my course mu campus provide me with different types of societies and seminars internship and many more self development classes Areas that according to me should be improved are the facilities in classroom like a mic to professors proper cooling system The time and frequency of conducting exam according to me is reasonable in my campus and easy to manage.

The placements occours every year ..the placement occours and we get a temporary government job at first but after experience u'll get a permanent job for sure which gors from 40000 initial to 80000 after experience

CVASc, GBPUA&T college review

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this because I always had a dream to serve the country by becoming a doctor. The faculty-student ratio is about 40:60. All the staff is well educated and groomed with a sufficient amount of knowledge from well-known universities all over India and the teaching methodology is up to the mark as it covers all the practical and theoretical aspects. Exams are conducted after every 2 months and are up to the level to pass.

Opt to become a veterinarian.

Placement Experience:

From the final year i.e. after 4.5 years students are eligible for an internship. The 6-month internship is to be done within the campus and the rest of the 6 months in another organization. Many dairy, poultry, food processing, and wool processing companies visit the college for hiring students. Also, many research fields are available after the course with great scope. Around 5 to 7 lakh per annum packages are easily available after the course which is generally offered by firms visiting the college. Best students based on their academic performances are preferred. Near about 60 to 70 % are generally getting placement. Others generally opt for further studies. AMUL, Ananda dairies, poultry firms, many renowned slaughterhouses, and research organizations are some places where veterinarians get appointed other than clinical practices.
