The College of Technology was established in 1962 under the Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture & Technology. The College is the lead institute in Uttarakhand in the World Bank project for Technical Education Quality Improvement Program (TEQIP) and is also the Regional Academy Centre of CISCO (including CISCO networking lab). It is approved by AICTE.

Admission:
You will have to apply for the course through the UTU counseling which is held every year. The counselling is based on the JEE MAINS rank. The rank should be good to get your dream branch. There are reservation benefits also for the OBC, SC and ST category. there are also some reservations. The admission process is also good . There are spot counselling also which are held at college level in offline mode.

- The stadium and its maintenance was quite great and wonderful for an individual who is keen to indulge himself into a particular sports.
- The entire campus is surrounded by trees so we get a fresh and healthy environment.
Dislikes
- The lack of some of the professor in giving an ample knowledge of a particular course.
- The hostel food facility is somewhat below standard especially the day food in most of the mesh.

The admission in our time was basically dependent upon the JEE Mains rank. As I belong from Uttarakhand so in our state quota we were distinguished using State Rank and that ranks were taken into consideration. It went for three rounds and the final round was decided to be spot round in which I also got my respective branch.

- I liked to play football and love playing outside with friends enjoying the games which are conducted in college stadium.
- I liked to explore college with cycle as our campus is really beautiful.

- There is no chilling places in our college like cinema hall, malls etc

The admission is conducted by Uttarkhand Technical University in which you have to apply for Jee Mains exam and should have a decent cutt off to apply for counseling of Uttarakhand Technical University.After that counseling begins and you have to fill the seats according to your choices for different branch.The Jee Mains exam is of 3 hours in which there are 75 MCQ questions are asked from Maths, Physics and Chemistry.The Online method of counseling should be improve and all the necessary guidelines should be given prior to the counseling for better understanding of students

The admission process is very simple.You just need to fill the utu counseling and the result comes in 3 4 days.sooon after taht you have to visit the college for your documentation and wohoo you are done

Addmission process was very easy as merit goes through your jee mains ranking. You can easily get get admission here in electronic and communication engineering if you have rank 80k -170k . As last year closing rank on electronics and communication engineering was 170000

- The curriculum is so good. Course is decided into semesters. And there is less load on you.

- This college is far from city, which makes life enclosed.
- Lots of restrictions there. You can't go out of the gate with permission.

You have to pass the jee main exam to get admission in engineering in this college. There are two exams per year. It is not a cup of tea. You have to prepare for a year to pass the exam. Eligibility criteria is that you should complete your 12th. Everything is feeded on the jee main website.

The Admission Process was fairly simple, We did our counseling from UTU Website, Uttrakhand Residents get 85% Reservation in this college, After the counseling result, there is a reporting time of 5-7 days within which you have to visit the college with the necessary documents and get the admission confirmed

The admission is on the basis of Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) MAINS percentile . The cut off will depend on the branch you are opting for the given degree and there are some reserved seats as well

The application form is to be released for 2023 after the declaration of course-respective entrance examination results such as JEE examination for B.Tech.
