Remarks :

College is good I think and our college was the first agriculture college of the university so the faculty are also good from the starting and are best I think negative points are like the infrastructure

Course Curriculum Overview :

There are so many courses according to the university I m doing bsc agriculture hons the exam structure is like 2 hourly exams and 1 external lab and 1 external examination and the results come every semester the passing marks required are 50 out of 100.

Placement Experience :

Placement are good in our university we can say not so bad but in many colleges the company interview are less so in some college the placement is good like vertinary college,agriculture college and b.tech agriculture

College Events :

There are loads of events that takes place in our university from start of the year to the end of the year in 2019 starting the Vivekananda swadyay mandal a foundation invited various guest to our university and the freshers party of every college

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fee structure is feasible like our college costs 35,000 per semester in this 13000 is tution fees 20,000 is fees advance in which the amt are deducted according to the food bill so our amt also reduced

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Various scholarship is provided by college like if the student is in top 3 position a monthly 800 rupees scholarship is provided and the student which are from ICAR provided with a 3000 monthly scholarship

Campus Life :

Extracurricular activities are best part of being in college various activities from sports to lab activities research work our college is best in reserch all over the India agriculture college gb pant University was the first ever ag college of india

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel is medium ranging like my hostel CHITRANJAN BHAWAN 1 the building is quite old because the university is old 1960 established we can rate 7/10 in the hostel infrastructure and it can be good if renewed

External Expense : Rs.4000 - Rs.7000

Alumni/Alumna :

Yes the seniors are most helpful for us they help us in every field from studies to sports they are seniors so they have experience so they now how to guide us and they are helpful and other things.

Admission :

First form filling of the university then there is an entrance exam which includes 200 questions 600 marks, then after the exam 6-7 days after the results come, then merit list comes and then by counselling students are selected according to the rank.

Faculty :

The college faculty is best faculty according to me and my rest of batch mates, the faculty are from best universities of india and self are high qualified so there is no doubts about our facilities.

Good college in Dehradun for Agriculture

Placement Experience:

Placements of this College is good not the best it also depends on how a good you are in studies . Students become eligible for Placements from 4th year 7-8th semester. Many companies visit college for placements of students namely Monsanto, amazon , google etc. Highest package is 1 crore and average package is 50 lakhs which given to the students by the companies . Mostly students get placements if they work hard rate is about 50%. According to if i get placement from this College then i would definitely do it , i want to earn or maybe i will give government exams

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was personally interested in the subject of agriculture as India is a country that is dependent on farming. We are still doing farming in the traditional way which should be changed and for that change, I have enrolled in this subject. Some practices like sustainable agriculture use fewer chemicals to conserve the land and for the development of this, I was personally interested in this career option. The level of education is moderate and the examination level is also moderate but the exam papers are lengthy.

Placement Experience:

From the 6th semester of 3rd year, we become eligible for sitting in internship and training cum placement programme. Many companies come and go Like HCl, Learning routes. The highest package was 5-6 L for agriculture Students from the agricultural department do not get placed too much because colleges do not call companies for us. They made us sit in sales and tech companies. After my degree, I'll look for outer companies.

We have both practical classes and theory classes in which we are able to learn how to work in real . We have field visits that make as aware about how to actually implement the things that has been taught in the class. We grow crops in field in 3rd year to improve practical knowledge about the course on that basis your cgpa is calculated how much the student know about the course offered After all this we have our hourlies exam approx every month to check the knowledge of the student in that subject

Honestly is best policy

Course Curriculum Overview:

Actually is am from the meeical field thats make me influenced to select this coarse and also there is not another coarse which i can take. Real world is not mention in this college for the shake of formality the do this. Teaching method should be improved and also some of the subject should be eliminated from the coarse. The timing of exam is not well and also the question is too difficult
