Gbpua&t is first agriculture university of india infrastructure of the university is good & research Centers & laboratory are well equipped it is largest university in india about 10016 acre area here i get too much opportunity to explore myself

Course Curriculum Overview :

I am student of b. sc. ag. hons. agriculture. it is an importent economic sector india it is an intresting course for me because i like study botany. Exams are held at internal and university level. Semester system is applied & exams held in 4 times at college level & 2 times at university level in a year

Placement Experience :

At university level a e. cell pantnagar named society is run that held campus placement & also provide a facility to private company to governed interview so here a good facility and higher chance to get a good placement.

College Events :

In the university many event are governed at both college and university level like Welcome fresher,ag. night,agro fun fair, vet. Fair,dharohar,ethos Some event like cultural night are held at national level Participation is open for all university students

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Fees is taken in two installment in a year Both installment contain tution fees,examination fees,tour charge,food charge, hostel charge, electric charge magzine, internet,acadmic Each installment include 36000money

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Scholarship facility is provide by icar delhi like nts,jrf,srf,fellowship scholarship is given in 3 installment in a year of 12000 Also a university level scholarship provide by state goverment to economic weak students

Campus Life :

Females are more in ratio Here a many workshop are programmed and a national level programe like "kisan mela" held in two times in a year Most of student are belong from other state like rajasthan, delhi, west bengal No any elections are held at university level

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel facility is also good. All rooms are for single student and maintains is governed by hostel warden & manager Also available rental room at 2-3k rs. Distance beetween hostel and college is about 1 km.

External Expense : Rs. 2000 - Rs. 4000

Alumni/Alumna :

Seniors are much cooprative in nature they give help in make academics good. And alumni of the university are more widely they spread all over the world an university level alumni meet held in September month of every year and alumni also provide scholarship like aap ratna to topper students

Admission :

I get admisson through icar entrance exam & i get 64 all india rank & this college is my first choice in counsling and then i get this college in first choice than i report at college beetween 4 days. and now i am regular student of this university

Faculty :

Faculty of the university is good & cooprative in nature & student friendly. they try to provide best education and practical knowledge of the subject. Most of the faculty teach as a advisor. faculty teachears are well qualified like p. hd. & masters

Good college in Dehradun for Agriculture

Placement Experience:

Placements of this College is good not the best it also depends on how a good you are in studies . Students become eligible for Placements from 4th year 7-8th semester. Many companies visit college for placements of students namely Monsanto, amazon , google etc. Highest package is 1 crore and average package is 50 lakhs which given to the students by the companies . Mostly students get placements if they work hard rate is about 50%. According to if i get placement from this College then i would definitely do it , i want to earn or maybe i will give government exams

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was personally interested in the subject of agriculture as India is a country that is dependent on farming. We are still doing farming in the traditional way which should be changed and for that change, I have enrolled in this subject. Some practices like sustainable agriculture use fewer chemicals to conserve the land and for the development of this, I was personally interested in this career option. The level of education is moderate and the examination level is also moderate but the exam papers are lengthy.

Placement Experience:

From the 6th semester of 3rd year, we become eligible for sitting in internship and training cum placement programme. Many companies come and go Like HCl, Learning routes. The highest package was 5-6 L for agriculture Students from the agricultural department do not get placed too much because colleges do not call companies for us. They made us sit in sales and tech companies. After my degree, I'll look for outer companies.

We have both practical classes and theory classes in which we are able to learn how to work in real . We have field visits that make as aware about how to actually implement the things that has been taught in the class. We grow crops in field in 3rd year to improve practical knowledge about the course on that basis your cgpa is calculated how much the student know about the course offered After all this we have our hourlies exam approx every month to check the knowledge of the student in that subject

Honestly is best policy

Course Curriculum Overview:

Actually is am from the meeical field thats make me influenced to select this coarse and also there is not another coarse which i can take. Real world is not mention in this college for the shake of formality the do this. Teaching method should be improved and also some of the subject should be eliminated from the coarse. The timing of exam is not well and also the question is too difficult
