Remarks

This course is eligible for all 10+2 candidates with PCB backgrounds with 60% grades. The application form is available on its official site gbpuat.ac.in. Reservation applies to all the candidates of SC, ST, OBC, EWS, and also the Freedom fighters quota. The admission process has upgraded itself to an online process which is a good thing and also seats for All India should be increased.

I chose this because I always had a dream to serve the country by becoming a doctor. The faculty-student ratio is about 40:60. All the staff is well educated and groomed with a sufficient amount of knowledge from well-known universities all over India and the teaching methodology is up to the mark as it covers all the practical and theoretical aspects. Exams are conducted after every 2 months and are up to the level to pass.

Class Size: 62Course Fees: INR 90000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees structure of this course is very basic that is 80k per year including mess and tuition fees and all other expenditures. Scholarships are provided to different categories of students in the university i.e. SC, ST, EWS, and many other categories. There is also a scope that you can become a teaching professional while doing PG so that you can manage your fees with the study.

Campus Life

The annual fest conducted in the university is the kisaan mela every year, one in March, and one in October. Amenities are- LED classrooms with projector facilities. Sports and extracurricular activities are abundant through which a student can groom himself or herself. Various societies are running in the university for the welfare of students as well as the community i.e. vet society, C.H.E.T.N.A Pantnagar student wing, Kaizen Vet society, Blue cross society, etc.

UG AT VETERINARY COLLEGE GBPUAT

Placement Experience:

There are plenty ot government and private jobs in veterinary sector if a person is having good knowledge of the subject he can have upto 8 to 10 LPA of income package after completing of ug and after few years of experience the income may raise to 15 to 17 LPA . There is no dedicated placement cell in the college for veterinarians but different state govt , army , paramilitary forces, different central and state govt conduct inductions for permanent employment of veterinarians . Employment is almost guaranteed after completion of this degree .

10+2 with science stream specifically PCB Are required as majors in intermediate. There are 2 methods of admission in this course. One, you can appear for the university entrance exam. Pantnagar veterinary college is a good choice

I got admission to Pantnagar veterinary college through ICAR AIEEA 2020 entrance exam. This exam is conducted every year for admission in various UG & PG courses. The exam was organized by NTA (the same agency that organizes NEET). After B.V.Sc. & Ah, I opt for PG with veterinary science for which I cleared this exam with an overall rank of 148 in the general category. The maximum marks for this exam are 480( there are 120 questions each of 4 marks), and my score was 300. The exam was conducted online mode. After the result, the students have to fill their choices of colleges on-site of ICAR and according to your score in the exam, seats are allotted in different universities. In the first round of counseling, I got a seat in Jabalpur veterinary college but I left that seat as there is a lack of research facilities in that college.
