Course Curriculum Overview :

Curriculum is absolutely relevant. It is in detail as it requires to gain a deep understanding. IIT prepares well for placement. Regular tests send assessment and labs makes it interesting and more practical.

Class Size : 2000Course Fees : INR 300000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

On campus internship available. Research intern there under proff asbe teaching assistant. Getting lor helped to get those with a stipend of 20000 per month. Project include prof research work for PhD.

Placement Experience :

One can opt for higher studies like phd. Or can give government exams like gate. From 4th sem campus placement starts. Nearly 200 companies visit. 80 percent get placed. I plan to get a job after degree

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Fee structure is given during the time of admission in ERP. IIT is approximately 140000 per semester. May vary year to year. Fees relaxation given to sc and st and to those giving income declaration. Stipend also given to those who excels in academics sports or both.

Campus Life :

Fests include spring fest kshitiz tech fest. Global entrepreneur summit. Several cells and societies present but go according to your interest. Cells have to much pressure meat affect academics. IIT kgp has one of the biggest library. Setting it's available. Sports is good here. Inter IIT is conducted which is very competitive apart from this open IIT gc is there. Society provide with exposure and connection

Hostel Facilities :

More or less ok. Not good but good to be alive. Washing machine in each floor. Meal is ok Breakfast lunch snacks dinner. Food court canteen and restaurant available. Hostel allotted by eep and room you will get after reporting.i have mother Teresa hall of residence

Hostel Fee : INR 27000 per year

Admission :

Admission was through jee Advance. Then counseling took place and everyone got branch and college according to their preference and Rank. Application fees will be updated during admission in ERP. Difficulty level of advance is high. Cutoff is rising yearly. Admission process is smooth

Faculty :

The faculty and student ratio is nice. IIT is appropriate. Proof are highly qualified and talented but some can't reach and some can. They are connected about their own research and not to much involved with students.

Placement Experience:

No companies offered on-campus internship . We were asked to contact by ourselves for off campus internships. You have to work hard and build real world projects. Then apply for off campus internship. Campus placements starts from 7th semester. TCS, Wipro, Infosys and many others mass recruiter come for placement drive . Average is 4 LPA this year 60% students got placements. I am preparing for GATE exam.

The IITan experience

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placement after the end of their 6th semester or third year. All though there eligible for internship after the end of 4th semester or 2nd year for on campus interviews. Almost all big companies of the nation and globally visit our campus. High-profile companies like high frequency trading firms like Quad Eye, graviton all visit our campus. The highest package offered for the computer science and mathematics and computing branch is around 2.2 crores while the median package is around 40 lacs. For my branch of chemical engineering the average package is 21 lakhs with median being 19 lakhs. All big tech companies like Google Apple Microsoft Amazon Facebook all visited campus. Placements and internships are never an issue in our college and are the last thing to worry about. If you can get admission here then you will have much more freedom to explore your entrepreneurial skills and pursue your passions as well.

Placement scenario is okay, it's niether that good nor that bad. Students need to study on their own, apart from college curriculum to get placed in a good company. The highest package would be around 10 lpa and average package around 3 lpa.
