There is no hostel for male students. 4th year are only given hostel.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Cse has recent market demand that's the reason to chose it Recent curriculum does not prepare you for real-world applications or further academic pursuits . We have to do it alone Real world projects would help Difficulty level is above moderate but not hard.

Class Size : 60Course Fees : INR 12000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

There is on-campus internship . We were asked to contact by ourselves for off campus internships. If you wanted some decent job then not waiting for college placement, you have to work hard and make some real world web applications. You must have to apply for off campus internship also.

Placement Experience :

No companies offered on-campus internship . We were asked to contact by ourselves for off campus internships. You have to work hard and build real world projects. Then apply for off campus internship. Campus placements starts from 7th semester. TCS, Wipro, Infosys and many others mass recruiter come for placement drive . Average is 4 LPA this year 60% students got placements. I am preparing for GATE exam.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The total tution fees and other compulsory fee is 3000 rupees per sem. The tution fees gets reduced for twf category students. And the students get Swami vivekananda scholarship and OASIS scholarship besides they get other government(PMSS) or non government scholarship easily and for the assistance and help of the faculty members. Svmcm is available it gives 60k stipends per year.

Campus Life :

There are so many cultural fests like fresher events, Tech o nicks, programming club, debate club, mountaining club, sports club and many more. CGEC library has so many books to read, that you need to apply for a library card. you can join any club and in future maybe you are going to lead.

Admission :

A student have to clear the Wbjee exam and get a decent rank under 6k to get this stream in this college . My wbjee rank is 3911 and I get this stream with TWF category. I am talking this on the perspective of the general students for any student who have some category he can get this or other branches with >12k rank. The application form fees and dates are given in the wbjee official website portal. This wbjee exam happens only one time in a year. The application process starts at the end of december and ends end or mid of january. The exam starts mid or last of April.

Faculty :

The faculty members are totally awesome. They focus on the conceptual learning to the students and they are truely friendly. Even we can connect them through their personal number for any kind of study related issue. And they attend us like our friend. I have never seen them to get irritated for the is whole business. Even if it's the time 12 o'clock we can connect them easily. If the problem is some kind of mass issue then we also can connect them through Google meet. They are truely impressive teachers.

Review on Guru Nanak Institute of Technology from one year of college experience

Placement Experience:

Recession is going on since last few years and being a private college obviously that has affected placements in our college also. The current situation of placement is not really good. Among students from all branches which each may have like 150 students, only 20 something got placed on campus. It is said that companies like TCS, Capegemini, Wipro, Amazon, Zscaler etc comes to campus for hiring but most just come and don't hire. This year highest package was 26.5 lakhs by only 2 students from our department, CSE.

Placement Experience:

The placement data of this college can be found on its site and if you work hard from your side the college will definitely bring in the companies and you will be placed depending on your skills.
