Course Curriculum Overview :

The course I chose is electrical and electronics engineering, This is a circuital branch and most of the software and govt companies that come to campus are open for us. The curriculum is well-updated, all the things that are necessary to make a student an industry specialist are performed on the campus.

Internships Opportunities :

Most of all the big software companies visited our campus for internship opportunities and most of them have taken 1-2 interns from my department. The electronics core companies were also came to get the students and they provided descent amount of stipend.

Placement Experience :

The placements are really good although the recession is going on. From my department around 95 students sat for placements and out of that around 85 students got placed and the average CTC is around 12-13 lakhs considering the recession this is a good package.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The tuition fee increases once in 2-3 years but we will get advance information. There are a lot of scholarships available based on the category they belong to and their financial situation. There is a scholarship given by the alumni of our institute, that is benefiting the economically weaker students.

Campus Life :

The campus life is very good, We have Three big festivals named Pragyan, Festember, and NITTfest. These all fests occur on a large scale. Out of which Pragyan is a Techno-Managerial fest and Festtember is a cultural one whereas the NITTfest is interdepartmental plus we have Sportsfeat which is interdepartmental sports fest.

Hostel Facilities :

The hostel facility given by the hostel is good. All the hostels are well maintained. Some hostels have a mess inside of them so our valuable time gets saved. The meals we get in the mess are enough but the quality of food is we can say is not that good.

Admission :

The entrance exam I have given is jee and the admission process is through JOSAA counseling. The cutoff for my department is around 6000 rank for other state general males and this cutoff is getting increased day by day

Faculty :

The faculty-to-student ratio is very good and all the teachers specialize in the courses they teach. The faculty is approachable at any time, they are available to help no matter what time it is. I myself often interact with teachers to get the answers for my questions.

Placement Experience:

The placement cell in our college was trying its best to provide job opportunities for the students but no companies are ready to give the job to students. The placement training was good but the students want more training about what placement is. They only conduct lots of tests and exams and assignments, etc.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because I had an interest in how the machine works by itself, like censors, how they work, etc. Faculty members in SRM are very friendly and with top qualifications. I can say that the education provided here is very good in quality. exams are held every month and marks are used to give internal marks.

Admission:

I got admission into this college through my scores in the JEE MAINS exam. The college takes inn students through their JEE scores. I scored a decent of 93 in JEE mains and got admitted into the college.

Placement Experience:

The placements were not that good at my time. although rround 60% of the students were placed but the salary offered used to be low. The salary offered was between 10K to 20K per month. I dont know about now, the packages must have developed withing these years.
