Alagappa Chettiar College of Engineering and Technology (ACCET) Karaikudi, Tamil Nadu, established in the year of 1952, is an autonomous government engineering college which is affiliated to Anna University. The college offers several courses in BE, ME, and MCA. The BE Program is available to candidates in full time and part-time mode while on the other hand, ME and MCA are full-time courses.

ACCET Karaikudi Admission
Admission to this college is based on merit and entrance-based modes. To secure admission in the college, you need to meet the basic eligibility criteria of the college. The right to admission rests completely in the hands-on the college and students must have obtained at least 50% aggregate marks in their qualifying examinations to be eligible for admission. In addition, for entrance mode, applicants need to score in TNEA for UG programs and TANCET for PG programs. Applications to this college are accepted in both online and offline mode.

- As it's a government college everything takes time to done and the infrastructure is average not too good . The equipment available in laboratory are 25 percent not in working condition.
- As the college is in remote location not much facilities are available in short distance we beed to. Walk average of 1km to reach claaa from hostel

As the admission is only through tnea it's easy to apply every process is well defined with YouTube videos. Many reservations scheme also provided as per TN government rules the eligible criteria to apply is we should have passed the 12th grade

In Alagappa chettiar government Engg College, CSE and ECE courses are only good for placement.While other courses won't have placement opportunities.If you want to take the admission in this college,you have to attend through Anna University counseling process, So you will be having less fee and scholarship as its government college.And also you can join privately but fees is little high. Admission is as per goverment standards.

To get admission to our college, you should apply for TNEA counselling conducted by Anna University. The seats will be allocated based on your general rank and community rank basis. There are 5 departments in our college.

Admission into ACCET is done on the basis of TANCET or TNEA, depending on the course. TANCET 2023 exam has already taken place. TNEA registration date are yet to be announced. You can check the official site to know more.
