Course Curriculum Overview :

The curriculum is mostly corporate world based hands on practice is encouraged for real world applications. timing of exam goes according to course completion. so a semester helps us in completing a good portion for placement preparation.

Class Size : 70Course Fees : INR 62500 per year

Placement Experience :

Campus placements start from seventh semester for btech and from 8TH semester for dual degree. campus placement rate is quite good as a premiere institute. Average package is around 30lpa for Comp sc. graduates highest package for this academic year is 1.2 crores

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Tuition fee is universal for all the departments.There is no such hike annually. Complete cost per semester exceeds 2 Lakhs.Financial assistance is provided for economically weaker sections.Mess fees comprises maximum part of semester fees. Non academic fees include medical fee & student activities fee

Campus Life :

many intra college and intercollege fests are held in academic year. from tech fest to cultural fest, all students participate. all the classrooms are well equipped with proper infrastructure and all experiment equipments are readily available.

Hostel Facilities :

It is 2 students in one room .meal quality is average. mess menu gets updated according to seasonally available vegetables.hostel registration is done during admission as it is compulsory for all students to get a room.

Hostel Fee : INR 5000 per year

Admission :

Any one who qualified JEE mains can get a seat in NIT. counselling for seat allocationa is done by josaa. Reservation benefits are also there. JEE is a moderate level exam with high competition. least cutoff for a seat in nitr is around 1Lakh all india rank

Faculty :

Faculties are top notch. They are PhD holders in their respective field. They start teaching keeping in mind that every student undrestands the concepts proper. they provide good references and question banks for practice. doubt clearing provision is good as proffessors are avilable mostly.

My perspective, through the University experience

Placement Experience:

The campus placement is decent but since the number of students enrolled in a course is relatively high, one really need to work hard if they aim at getting placed at a really good package. It is necessary to keep in head that since competition is high due to huge population of students, you need to consistently give your best and do extra courses side by side.

From the first year onwards you can get a paid internship. If you have skills you can get an internship by yourself. From the 5th-6th semester, you can get campus internships from companies like tech Mahindra, boutique many more.
