Remarks :

As per my AIEEE rank I got into NIT RKL in MME Dept. Since NIT rkl has a good reputation among Engineering colleges. Especially in odisha it is considered the best college for Engineering. I took Metallurgy and Materials Engg as my branch

Course Curriculum Overview :

Heat Treatment of metallic materials. Iron making, steel making, thermodynamics, first ywar was common for all the branches.2nd year onwards we had our branch subjects. It ised to be a mix of theoritical and practical subjects.

Class Size : 60Course Fees : INR 320000 per year

Placement Experience :

There were more than 100 companies that visited during our year. We had companies like Amazon, Zomato, Tata Steel, Shell, Tata tin plate/ Bluescope, Oracle, Samsung, IBM, TCS, Infy, Vedanta, Adani, Reliance, Hindalco

College Events :

It was good. We had multiple fest organised through iut the year. We had a STUDENT ACTIVITY CENTER which overlooked all the fests. We had tech fest, cult fest, International students meet & Sports fest. Plus we also had fests at our hostels organized independently by individual hostels.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Im really not into mathematics and science my hobbies and strong catch was always on literature subjects and speaking and when I had completed my 10th I was always searching for the course where my intrest was lying and I finally found Journalism. The curriculum of this particular field is really practical and always prepares you for field . There is no such rocket science applied to this course . This particular field moulds the students to be always prepared for field experiences. And if we talk about the examinations here in our college this paper was held yearly which really gave us time to prepare for more better results.

Modification Review for the Existing College Infrastructure

Placement Experience:

The are decent opportunity to explore while in the college. Campus placement are not frequent but the campus drives are shared among the students. The compensation varies according to roles and the requirements. The percentage of getting placed through college is less but if one's tries and have a proper communication with their faculty members and stay updated with latest news and campus drives acan help to grab a good opportunities.
