Course Curriculum Overview :
The course structure is very much related to the research areas. There are industrial visits in sail plant. For campus placement students are groomed. Every depart has made the syllabus in such a way that all the content is industry specific and teachers also give importance.
Placement Experience :
Placement is also very good both for core and it. Internships are also available and students also go to foreign countries to do internship.
College Events :
There are many events such as Internit sports Annual fest Hostel sports Annual feast Technofest Cultural fest Regarding participation students of nit iit and regional college can participate. For internit only the students from nit can participate. Every Sunday movies are there in auditorium. Cricket match is also displayed in auditorium.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
As it's government college so fee is not much as the government also provides scholarship. Yes transparency is there in fee structure. Every item in fee is mentioned with the value to avoid any confusion. The fee is accepted only online mode. 5000 is to be paid to secure your seats in the respective fields and in the respective department.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Foreign scholarship along with national scholarship are available and teacher also helping the student to get those.
Campus Life :
Everything is ver good and upto the mark. As usual in the engineering college student from female category are less in comparison to male. Students often do parties. There are many places outside you can go and do the parties. There is no discrimination based on caste and creed.
Hostel Facilities :
In first year it's twin sharing basis and in second year it's single room for single person. The food quality is excellent. The average rent of room is 300 rupees per month. There are night canteen in each hostel.
Alumni/Alumna :
The alumni network is very good and everything thing is online so reaching to the person is very easy.
Admission :
Gate is essential to get admission in m tech course. For admission there is online counselling. After b tech I got good rank in gate. Now I opted for machine design in masters as I was very much interested in machine design. After gate results there is a counselling.
Faculty :
Faculties are well qualified and experienced too. Teachers are very much related with industry as they were doing project of the industry. Regarding the qualification of the faculties they all are phd holders from foreign university or from iit. So the qulaitu is itself very good.
